My Routine and My Day Off

From Monday to Friday, I usually wake up at 6:30 a.m. I always brush my teeth and take a
quick shower before having breakfast. I often eat toast with jam and drink a glass of milk.
After breakfast, I get dressed in my school uniform and leave home at 7:15 a.m. I go to
school by car because it is faster. My classes start at 8:00 a.m. and finish at 3:00 p.m. I
usually have six subjects every day, and my favorite is English. I sometimes talk with my
friends during break time, and we usually laugh a lot.

When I get home, I eat lunch with my family and then I rest for a while. I usually do my
homework from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m., and after that, I watch some videos or play games on my
phone. I never go out on school days. I have dinner at 7:30 p.m., and then I read a book or
listen to music. I go to bed at 9:30 p.m. because I have to wake up early the next day.

But today is my day off, and things are very different! I am not waking up early. I am sleeping
more and relaxing at home. Right now, I am sitting on the couch and watching a movie with
my little brother. We are eating popcorn and drinking juice. I am not doing homework today,
and I am not wearing my uniform. I am wearing a comfortable hoodie and sweatpants. Later,
I am going to help my mom bake a cake. Today is fun and peaceful, and I love having a
break from my busy school routine.
