LESSON PLAN -THE PLANTS AND THEIR PARTS

At the end of the lesson, the pupils can:


a) Identify the parts of the plant;
b) Describe the parts of the plant;
c) Appreciate the help of the plants in our daily life.

• Procedures

I. WARM UP

Do you know any kind of plants, Class?

Have you seen these?

Living things exist and are alive and non- living things do not have a life.

What are these?


These are the parts of

II. ACTIVITIES

Teacher comments about the topic:

Today, we are going to learn more about these parts of the plants.
What are the parts of the plants?

Those are the:


1. Leaves
2. Stem
3. Roots
4. Flower
5. Fruits

4. Discussion:
Do you think plants can help us to live?

Something more: Plants provide us with food, fiber, shelter, medicine, and fuel.

Teacher explain:

After the teacher explains the topic, they copy concept of the plants and their
classification
Students also copy the function of each part
III. CULMINATION

1. What is the function of the roots again?

It sucks up water and nutrients for the plant,

2. How about the stem?

The water and nutrients flow to the stem,

3. How about the leaves?

It makes food for the plant and give oxygen for us,

4. How about the flower?

The flower attracts the pollinator and create fruits! We eat it, teacher

Finally teacher says: Plants help us in many ways so that we have to take care of it and
do not destroy it, okay?
