Dear Madam,

Concessionaire bring to authorities' attention that the challenges facing in procurement of pond ash necessary
for the construction of the Project. With above ref letter # 2 from the Authority Concessionaire have reached
out to NTPC authorities regarding the requirement of 15 lacs cubic meter pond ash. However, we have been
informed that the requisition must originate from the NHAIheadquarters &Ministry of Power, Govt of India to
proceed further.
Additionally vide ref # 1, during our efforts in getting approvals for the borrow areas, we have encountered
complications due to the allotment of identified lands to farmers under the "Dalita Bandhu scheme."
Consequently, the concessionaire is facing difficulties in securing the soil source for construction of project.
Hence, it is requested PD-NHAI to write to NHAI HQ for extending support to the concessionaire in the
procurement of pond ash from NTPC by formally communicate the concessionaire's requirement to NTPC
Ramagundam authorities through Ministry of Power, Govt of India.

Furthermore, we would appreciate that the PD, NHAI could draft a letter to the Executive Director, NTPC -
Ramagundam to support this request.
