SCHOOL RULES
1. The sanitation of the school, both inside and outside must be a priority. Pupils must be at school by 8 o’clock so as to ensure that the
surrounding is clean and that everything is in order.
2. Personal cleanliness of pupils must be a priority. Their hair, eyes, face, hand and feet must be clean. Finger nails and toe nails must be short
and clean.
3. The girls’ hair must be neatly combed and plaited, if they are long. They must not use colourful nail polish on finger nails and toe nails,
lipstick, eye shadow, face powder, jingles or bangles, finger rings, hanging earrings and neck lace. Wrist watches and stud earrings are allowed.
4. Pupils are responsible for keeping the school furniture clean. There must be no dirt, scratches, writing or cuts on them.
5. On arriving at school, pupils must say “good morning,” “good afternoon” or “good day” to any teacher, class mates or who ever may be
around.
6. If pupils are absent, parents must send a note of explanation for their absence.
7. Pupils must be punctual. If they are late for a good reason, they must apologize.
8. Pupils must not leave their classroom without the permission of their class teacher.
9. Pupils must not enter another class without the permission of that class teacher.
10. Pupils must always remember to use their exclamation: Please, Thank You, No Thanks, May I help you, I am sorry.
11. The National Pledge, School Pledge and School Motto must be recited every day.
12. Pupils must always show respect to the National flag by standing at attention when it is being raised or taken down.
13. Pupils must stand at attention whenever the National Anthem is being sung.
14. Pupils must show respect to their teachers and all elderly persons in the community.
15. Pupils must not eat, drink or chew in class.
16. Pupils must continually revise their school work during their spare time and during the holidays.
17. The presentation of the pupils’ work in their exercise book must be neat and clean.
18. All books in use must be clean and tidy. Pupils exercise books must be covered with paper. There must be no ‘dog ears’ on them.
19. Pupils must be obedient, courteous and helpful to their teachers and to one another.
20. The writing of ‘love’ letters among pupils is not allowed.
21. All duties and responsibilities assigned to pupils must be bravely done.
22. No pupils are to leave the school without writing the SSEE and National Third Form Examination and completing their Primary school
education.
23. Going to parties and drinking alcohol is strictly prohibited.
 CLASS ROOM RULES
1. Be punctual (on time) for class.
2. Always seek permission from class teacher before leaving the classroom.
3. Keep the classroom tidy at all times.
4. Cover and label all exercise books.
5. Complete homework and other tasks given in a timely manner.
6. Be tidy in appearance.
7. Wear your complete school uniform.
8. Eat only during lunch hours.
8. Be kind to others.
9. Be polite to everyone.
10. Respect other students’ personal property.
11. Speak using moderate tone of voice.
13. Send a note or a letter of excuse to class teacher explaining the reason for your absence.
14. Report to class teacher if you are feeling sick.
