To start working with Music Notation for MS Word, select the “Insert” | “Object” command or press the
“MagicScore object” button (In Word 2007 this button located in Settings panel). To use the notes
editor, double click an object or select the editor in the context menu of an object in the score.

To insert an existing scores into Microsoft Word use these tips below:
1. Add the MagicScore object (If not added)
2. Double click an object or select the editor in the context menu of an object in the score
3. In the notes editor window click File | Load
4. Choose the desired MagicScore file in the dialog window.
Pay attention that File | Open action won’t give the same result as File | Load action.
You can use File | Open to copy particular scores fragments from other files to MagicScore object score
which will be sent to Microsoft Word document.
The main working concept is to modify scores using the MagicScore object window – notes editor.
After changing data in the editor, save ( “Save”) your work to move the changes into your document.
To change object size in a document, select “Composition properties” | “Page” in the editor.
