I am a student of BS Automotive Engineering at University of Engineering and


Technology, Lahore. I started my UET career in September,2023. Since then, I have evolved day
by day in my field. I have gained a lot of knowledge and will never stop learning.
During my summer vacations, I worked as an intern at HAVAL HB Gujranwala Motors
located at Mall of Gujranwala, Grand Trunk Rd, Gujranwala. My internship duration was 1
month from July 17,2024 to August 17,2024. My role at this internship was to work as an
Assistant Technician. I worked in workshop at their services department.
During my internship, I gained valuable insights about how the system of a
workshop works, how the staff cooperates with their customers regarding vehicle’s services,
inspection. I also maintained a good and friendly relation with the management, the service boys
and the supervisor.
It was a newly opened company and I was their first intern. All the staff
briefly helped and guided me in all aspects of the field as much as they can. I worked under the
Head Mechanic and the Electrician. They had a lot of knowledge in their respective areas of
work and their method of working was so good that I learn to do the service and inspection only
by watching them.
By doing this internship, I have gained basic knowledge of my field which
will help me to go further. I can conclude that internships are much important for becoming a
professional and skilled man in any field.

As we all go further in our life, we see that Discipline, Faith and Unity are three ultimate
disciplines to become successful.
In my internship, my duties and responsibilities are as follows:
 To be on time.
 To work in the way as told by the management.
 To take care of the workshop, the working bay.
 To keep everything clean and tidy.
 To ask relevant questions about the work.
 To learn and adopt to the workshop’s system.
 To stop any stranger from entering the workshop.
 To make sure that all the working equipments are placed in their respective places.
 To deal with the car, vehicle owners politely.
 To answer the queries of the customers correctly.
 To make sure that every vehicle that has come to workshop is good before handling it to
its owner.
 To do pre-delivery inspections.
 To engage with the management and the workshop staff appropriately.
