 Use this script to organize the sections and topics of your script.
 Write what you are going to say in each section of the script.
 Be sure to follow the structures and recommendations listed below.
 Be sure to use simple language. The use of complex vocabulary or grammar structures
we have NOT learned during the semester are not necessary. Rely on the content you
have learned and what is most comfortable for you to express.
 You do not have to produce long and heavy descriptions. Be coherent and concise.

INTRODUCTION

Welcome listeners to your talk show.
Introduce yourselves as the hosts and
introduce your guest(s).

Body
Introduce your guest(s) by asking and
answering questions about:

 Basic biography about the


person: name, nationality, age,
profession, background,
influences, etc.
 Professional contribution (social
work, philanthropy, influence,
etc.) to your professional field.

Next, open a space for discussion in


which together you must:
 Identify or create a recurring
problem, issue or concern within
your profession.
 Together you must discuss a
solution to the problem.

Helpful Grammar:

 Present Perfect / Present


Perfect Progressive (for, since): to
express influences, consequences,
observations, etc. from the past
up to the present time.
 Used to: to describe past
habits and routines.
 Modal verbs: to express
obligations, necessity, permission
and prohibition

conditionals: to describe possible
solutions and outcomes to the
problem discussed.
 Simple present passive and
simple past passive: to
demonstrate actions taken and
actions being taken about the
issues discussed
 Other grammar: Phrasal Verbs;
reported speech

End your discussion by highlighting or
expressing your final thoughts on what
you discussed.
