STALKING

disorder in which the stalker has a false and persistent belief that their victim is in
love with them. Most of the time, their victim is of a higher status, a celebrity or
someone in a position of authority. The stalker may well believe that their victim is
someone sending them secret messages or signals or communicating with them in
some way, i.e. through gestures or body language.
