Introduction
1.0 Introduction
The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic is being sensed and analyzed by the international travel
and tourism department. During the continued increase of the Covid-19 viral infections, tourists'
perspectives of travel dangers and arrival planning demonstrated a vital character in their country
choosing capability. Tourists' views of travel risk and risk management might influence their
psychological attitudes while travelling to destinations and places. Due to the outbreak of the
current viral infection, tourists may have a fresh strategy on travel dangers and approaching
challenges. Tourists will omit those destinations which are dangerous for their health and
vitality. Tourism destinations are connected with tourists' travel dangers and planning, which are
having lots of phases with uncertain results due to the impact of Covid-19. Therefore, it is
challenging to label the consequence dimensions for evaluating an image based on the problems
faced of tourists and collaborating their outcomes. This dissertation has been composed due to
the challenges of the tourism industry before and after Covid-19.
1.1Background
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which has been labelled a "black swan situation," is more
probably to inflict substantial monetary disruption than a viral outbreak (Shretta, 2020). The
novel virus COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2) develops a severe respiratory dysfunction. The new
coronavirus disease was first discovered in Wuhan, China, in December 2019. On the date of 11
March 2020, the World Health Organization will highlight COVID-19 a pandemic due to the
virus’s rapid global outbreak. By June 2020, the COVID-19 had infected and contracted over ten
million persons and patients and made over half a million deaths globally (WHO, 2020). The
pandemic spread across the globe which effected the tourism industry worldwide, it caused many
challenges, risks and obstructions for the global travel and tourism industry.
1.2Problem Statement
The primary goal of this research is to elaborate the international tourist industry's impact due to
COVID-19 virus outbreak. The investigation focuses on all countries and highlights the tourist
risks they encountered, as well as solutions for overcoming those factors in the moderate and
extensive term, while avoiding global income generation shocks resulted by the epidemic. The
study also stresses on the impact of the other large sub-services that analyze tourism sector
development, such as human instincts, travel by air, consumer goods, transportation facilities and
handle held communication. In the normalized term, a structured country must safeguard its
nationals in respect for maintaining a consistently managed tourism revenue generated.
Governments must acquire methods to provide security to tourist workers with also assisting
with monetary assistance in the ways of less interested debts or grants.
1.3Research Aims and Objectives
The research aims and objectives for this research are as the follows:
 Tourism Impact by Covid-19 outbreak
 Challenges faced by the tourism industry before COVID-19
 Challenges faced by the tourism industry after COVID-19

The research question which is adapted by the following context mentioned above:
“Challenges faced by tourism industry before and after COVID-19”
1.5 Dissertation Structure
The following outline describes the structure of this dissertation: The introductory chapter has
already been given, and in the chapter that has been mentioned, the historical context and
research difficulties are described, and then the goals and objectives are mentioned. The
literature review, which is a theoretical study of the issue that has been presented for the thesis, is
discussed in the second chapter. The third chapter is the basis for the research approach that will
be used for the specific issue that has been allocated.
