Discount = (Discount% × Price) ÷ 100
Example: 20% off on $50 → Final price = $40

4. Grocery / Market
Price = Weight (kg) × Rate/kg
Example: 1.5 kg tomatoes at $3/kg → $4.50

5. Cooking & Weight

1 kg = 1000 g
Example: 500g sugar = 0.5 kg

6. Food Energy (Nutrition)

Calories = kJ × 0.239
Example: 1000 kJ snack = 239 kcal

7. Weight Conversion
1 kg = 2.204 lbs
Example: 70 kg = 154.28 lbs

8. Speed
Speed = Distance ÷ Time
Example: 150 km in 3 hours → 50 km/h

9. Time Conversion
1 hour = 60 minutes; 1 minute = 60 seconds
Example: 2.5 hours = 150 minutes

10. Volume
Volume = Length × Width × Height
Example: 2m × 1m × 0.5m = 1 m³
11. Fuel Cost
Cost = Price/liter × Liters used
Example: $1.50 × 20L = $30

12. Electricity Cost

kWh = Power (kW) × Time (hours)
Example: 1.5 kW × 4 hrs = 6 kWh

13. Simple Interest

Interest = (P × R × T) ÷ 100
Example: $1000 at 5% for 2 years = $100 interest

14. Compound Interest

A = P(1 + r/n)^(nt)
Example: $1000 at 5% for 2 years → A = $1102.50

15. Loan EMI

EMI = [P × r × (1+r)^n] ÷ [(1+r)^n - 1]
Example: $10,000 loan at 1% monthly for 12 months ≈ $888.49

16. Currency Conversion

Amount = Local Money ÷ Exchange Rate
Example: ₹10,000 ÷ 80 = $125
