SUBJECT: FUSELAGE JIG ADAPTERS
MODELS AFFECTED: MODEL 182E AND 210B
Fuselage jig adapters for the 1962 Model 182E and 210B are now available from the
Cessna Parts Department in kit form (copies of these kits are attached).
By installing these adapters, combination jigs in the field can be made to accomodate
Models 182E and 210B fuselages. These adapters are offered, both for the early style
fuselage jig Model 5024, and the later style jig Model SE 518 (Model 5024 jigs are
serialized through Number 315 - - SE 518 jigs are serialized with Number 316 and on).
Kits needed for both style jigs, along with the required shop aids to make the instal-
lations, and the prices involved, are listed below for your ordering convenience.

Total net cost for adapter fittings is $273.00. Costs on shop
aids will be refunded when they are returned.
Please note that some fittings and shop aids are interchangeable between kits.
Therefore, if kits are ordered separately, the bill of material on the kit being
ordered should be examined closely to determine the shop aids needed. If 210B

adapter fittings are ordered separately without the 182E adapter fittings, in
addition to the shop aids, extra parts must also be ordered. ( Reference Service
Kits, SK210-34 and SK210-35). Prices on these kits are as follows -
SK210-34 210B Strut Fittings - SE 518 Jig Price $28.00 Net
SK210-35 210B Strut Fittings - 5024 Jig Price $28.00 Net
NOTE: Service Letter 210-1 announced availability of 210 adapter fittings
on the Models 5024 and SE 518 jigs to adapt to the 1960 and 1961
Model 210 fuselage. In order to position the new 210B adapter
fittings on jigs in the field, this earlier 210 adapter kit must
first be installed.
Model 182E and 210B adapter fittings have been added to the new Model SE 518
combination fuselage jigs now on sale from the Cessna Parts Department. The
new price is $2,650.00 Net and is sold under SK180-18.
The combination wing jig, SK180-15 will not require any change or modification
as a result f 182E and 210B changes.
