Working Mathematically: The components of Working Mathematically are embedded throughout all topics in Years 7 to 10.
The Working Mathematically processes present in the Mathematics K – 10 Syllabus are:
● communicating ● understanding and fluency ● reasoning ● problem solving
Students learn to work mathematically by using these processes in an interconnected way.
The coordinated development of these processes results in students becoming mathematically proficient.

Syllabus outcomes: Students will be working towards achievement of the following outcomes
Stages develops understanding and fluency in mathematics through exploring and connecting mathematical concepts, choosing and applying
MAO-WM-01 mathematical techniques to solve problems, and communicating their thinking and reasoning coherently and clearly
