THEORY

Expert committee members suggested that in Phase-I subjects, question papers for theory questions
structured mark allotment should be mentioned for each reasoning out questions.
Hence the scheme of theory examination is as follows:
a) MCQ – 20 (20 X 1) = 20 Marks
(Out of 20 MCQs 5 will be case scenario based)
b) Essay 1 ( 1 X 10) = 10 Marks
c) Reasoning out short notes 2 (2 X 5) = 10 Marks
d) Short Notes 10 (10 X 6) = 60 Marks
(out of 10 question, 1 should be from AETCOM
and 4 should be from Applied aspects) ________________
TOTAL = 100 Marks
PHYSIOLOGY PRACTICALS – 100 Marks
LAB 1:
1. Major Haematology Experiments: = 10 Marks
( RBC, WBC, OC)
2. Minor Haematology Experiments: = 05 Marks
(HB, BT, Ct, BLOOD Grouping)

3. Clinical Chart Discussion: = 05 Marks


4. OSCE: = 20 Marks
(4 X Working Station (4 X 5))
(General) Examination/CVS/RS/CNS/Abdomen/AETCOM)
LAB 2 :
1. CNS Practical: = 10 Marks

2. RS or CVS or Abdomed: = 10 Marks

3. OSCE: = 20 Marks
(4 Response Station (4 X 5)
