Dear Admission Committee,

I am writing this reference letter to the request of Ms. Naila Guliyeva , who was one of
my outstanding students, to support her in her application to participate in her Master’s
Degree at University of Hungary. During my courses of Nanostructure Physics and
Fundamentals of Nanotechnology Ms. Guliyeva showed a strong interest in the physics
beyond the Nanophysics. Her work under my supervision enriched her experience in my
lessons. She has linked Nanotechnology with Space technology in her individual works which
made me admire her hardworking nature and the way she did her researches. She searched
deeply for each project and studied enormous number of academic and popular papers about
space elevator and nanoFET technology (Propulsion system in spacecrafts) and
demonstrated outstanding presentation about them. She has successfully passed both exams
of my courses with high scores (A).
As Naila’s professor, I witnessed her extraordinary ability to quickly understand
advanced physics concepts and then apply them to real world situations first hand. At a
personal level, Naila was a well-disciplined, industrious student with a pleasant personality.
She went well beyond the course requirements in the quantity and quality of her studies,
putting in a lot of extra research and attending office hours in Nano research laboratory every
week. Throughout the course, Ms. Naila demonstrated great perseverance and initiative.
Naila has excellent communication skills. She demonstrated her oral articulateness in the
discussion sections that were an integral part of the course. Naila was highly proficient in
applying the course material in analyzing the problem situations. She always explained her
views very concisely and gave supporting arguments that were both clear and persuasive.
Naila also demonstrated good teamwork skills in group assignments.
