Limitation of call duration

• ACCESSNET-T IP monitors and limits
• call durations
• call setup times (waiting and ringing time during call setup).
• Maximum call duration can be configured
• Every call independent of the call type
• During semi-duplex calls, the times of inactivity and the maximum call duration is
monitored.
• The timeout of the inactive phase will result in a call clear
• Call time limits
• Depends on the call type
• Standard value
• Advanced properties for group calls
• Group call is terminated when the source subscriber of the group call exits
• "Group Call Ownership"

Waiting Queue and Priorities

• Definition of 16 different priority levels
• Circuit Mode Calls
■ Higher prioritised calls are handled preferentially by the wireless system
■ Call processing depending on the call priority
■ Incoming call requests are placed in a queue by the wireless system depending
on their call priority (Call Priority).
• A prerequisite is that required system resources (traffic channels or connecting lines)
are occupied.
• Adjustable queuing time
■ Allocation of freeing system resources to waiting call requests is done depending
on call priority
• Higher call priorities are handled preferentially
• Calls with identical priority are processed in the order of their arrival

Waiting Queue and Priorities

■ Call priority request from mobile station

• Display for call requests from mobile station
• Setting in the mobile station
■ Selection of call priority at dispatcher during call setup (optional)

Pre-Emptive Priority Call

• Call request with a call priority starting at level 12
■ Displacement of other, already existing calls with lower call pri ority
■ destination subscriber or
■ required system resou rce are occupied.
■ If several calls can be selected, the call with the lowest cal l priority is ended .
• Restriction: Call to group member
■ If a mobile station as a group member is in a group call , then this subscriber
cannot be reached with an individual call.
■ Calling subscriber receives the rejection "Called party not reachable".
• Even an individual call with pre-emptive call priority does not lead to enabling the group
member.
