Minh: Introduction

"Hi everyone. I’m very excited to on behalf of our group to introduce about our
presentation.
Before we start, let me quickly introduce our team members: I’m Minh, ……

Now, let’s dive into our topic. Today our group will share with you a common issue that all
of us may have experienced at some point: Peer Pressure.
Peer pressure happens when people around us — our friends, classmates, or even
acquaintances — influence how we behave, think, or feel, usually to fit in with a group.
It’s especially common in school environments where being accepted can seem incredibly
important.
In fact, studies reveal that over 70% of students have faced peer pressure at least once
during their school years.
Clearly, peer pressure is a powerful force. But is it always a bad thing?
To answer this question, let’s turn to Lâm, who will walk us through some real-life
examples."

Minh: Conclusion
"As we can see, peer pressure can have both good and bad effects on our lives.
It all depends on how we respond to it.
By knowing what we believe in, choosing the right friends, and being brave enough to say
'no' when needed, we can turn peer pressure into something positive.
Thank you all for listening!"
Lâm: Examples and Impacts
"Thank you, Minh
Hi, I’m Lam. For me, peer pressure is very awesome as sometimes it can change us
without us even noticing.

When it’s positive, peer pressure encourages us to become better versions of ourselves.
For instance, friends might push each other to study harder, join a sports team, or
participate in volunteer work
This kind of peer pressure helps us to improve ourselves and reach our goals.
However, peer pressure isn’t always so supportive.
Negative peer pressure happens when people around us pressure us to do things we
know are wrong, like skipping class, smoking, drinking, or bullying others.
Negative peer pressure can affect our academic performance, emotional well-being, and
even our future.
So the question is: how can we deal with peer pressure when it comes?

Mỹ: Solutions
"Thanks, Lâm. Hi everyone, I’m Mỹ.
Listening to those examples really made me realize that peer pressure can be very strong,
both in good and bad ways.
Luckily, there are simple ways we can deal with peer pressure.

First, it’s essential to understand our own values and set personal goals clearly.
When we know what matters to us, it becomes easier to resist outside influences.
Second, we need to practice saying 'no' politely but clearly when something feels wrong
Third, choosing good friends who respect our choices is very important.

Finally, if things feel hard, don’t feel ashamed to ask for advice from family or teachers,
you will be provided much-needed guidance.

Of course, theory is one thing — but real experiences often tell a much richer story.
Now, let's listen to two short interviews about peer pressure experiences."
