AP Computer Science Principles Summer Packet. /Mr. Cardenas.

Welcome to the school year 2024-2025 and to AP Computer Science Principles!!! Below is
the summer assignment for AP CSP. Please read carefully and complete before August
29th. The summer work is 15+ hours so start early! The most important part of the
summer work is to dig around and play with the ideas of computers and programming.
There are many videos and online forums that can help you with these. DO NOT put this
off until the last week of August.

Assignments (Counts as a test grade):

1. Go to [Link] and create an


account [Link] Create an account
using your school gmail account. Make your username your first and
last name. Once your account is created, scroll to the bottom of the
page. You will see a box that says “Join a section.” Otherwise Navigate
to [Link] Sign up for the summer assignment
by using the code BTPKGL.

2. After you enter the code for the summer assignment


(Accelerated Intro to Computer Science), the top of the page will have
the option to start the express course. This course must be
completed this summer. There will be videos and other
presentations that are helpful, but not essential for completion of
the assignment. You MUST complete all of the activities. It will be
approximately 15 hours! We will use [Link] as our main platform
for activities/assignments this year so I would like for you to get
comfortable with the website.
