This unit is about The Concepts of Politics and Governance.
As an individual, have you ever wondered; who are the people in the government? How
does the government work? Why is government important? How important is government and
politics to our daily lives? In this module, you will learn and critically evaluate the solutions and
measures of the government in solving political and governmental issues affecting our daily lives.
As you go through on this module, think of this question: What determines a country?
You had so many thoughts about the question. Maybe you can answer that a country has many different
provinces, people, and places to go to, etc. To give you an idea of your subject I want you to study the picture
quietly for a few minutes. Describe exactly what you see in the picture.
