Sardar Patel: "Our immediate priorities include addressing the integration of princely states into the Indian
Union, ensuring communal harmony, and setting up a robust administrative framework. We must focus on
making a Constitution based on the principles of justice , and equality . We must start rebuilding the nation,
improving infrastructure, and fostering economic development. Unity and cooperation will be key to
overcoming the challenges we face."
Reporter: “ Sardar Patel, where do you see India in 10 years of time ?”
Sardar Patel: “ In a time of 10 years , I see India to be somewhat of a transformed nation , free from the clutches
of colonialism and a democracy that is accepted by the masses . I see a Unified Nation where everyone accepts
each other’s differences and learns to live together in harmony . Everyone agrees to disagree and follows the
motto of unity in diversity . I hope that if we are able to follow this for another 50 years , I am sure that we will
surpass every other nation in this world to become the largest democratic republic . However , I also believe that
if there's a slight hindrance in our principles then the entire nation will be engulfed in riots and there will be
bloodshed . I hope that I never see that day . I want every citizen to spread the message of unity in diversity and
harness it .
