Invitations should also be sent to the relevant judge through PTAUEnrolment before a week's notice to affirm communication lines .

To ensure compliance when setting down a case on Case Lines, first, invite the respondents and upload the compliance statement. Ensure the case name is marked as unopposed under Rule 46, and the case number follows the YEAR/NUMBER format. Align the sections according to the Revised Practice Directive amended on June 12, 2024, by moving previously uploaded documents to the correct sections and removing obsolete ones. The Revised Practice Directive of June 12, 2024, is significant because it provides updated guidelines for arranging sections and documents on Case Lines, ensuring that all legal requirements are met before the court hearing. This directive mandates that any changes in section arrangements must lead to a cleanup of obsolete sections, ensuring clarity and compliance. It also dictates deadlines and section allocations for various legal documents, impacting how attorneys prepare for court by providing an updated procedural framework .

To ensure proper final enrollment, invite PTAUEnrolment@judiciary.co.za before 12:00 on the seventh clear Court Day ahead of the Set Down date. Each document, including the Notice of Set Down, supporting affidavits, and Draft Court Order, must be correctly uploaded to their respective sections in Case Lines. This includes making sure all tick boxes are checked during proceedings on Case Lines. Timely reminders and verifications must also be aligned with the procedural timelines to prevent any enrollment issues .

When setting down a case, invite the respondents and upload the Notice of Set Down without a date to ensure proper notification. Clarify the invitation details as per the instructions on page 88 of the Revised Practice Directive and confirm that all necessary checkboxes are ticked in Case Lines. This ensures all parties are informed in a timely manner, allowing them to prepare adequately for the proceedings.

The compliance statement plays a crucial role by affirming that all procedural and legal requirements have been adhered to before the court hearing. It must be uploaded to Section 01 in Case Lines, ensuring that the court and other parties are aware of the case's readiness for hearing. It acts as an official declaration of compliance with the revised practices and proper document handling, essentially validating the authenticity and correctness of the process against the Revised Practice Directive .

Uploading a notice of application and supporting affidavits to specific sections in Case Lines ensures an organized documentation structure that complies with court procedural requirements. Placing documents in designated sections as stipulated by the Revised Practice Directive improves accessibility, avoids misfiling, and prevents delays during court proceedings. This structured approach supports transparency and efficient case management .

The Draft Court Order should be submitted in both PDF and Word formats, which is important as it allows for easy readability and potential edits by the court. Submitting in these formats ensures that the document maintains its integrity and alignment with court requirements and allows flexibility in making adjustments or modifications before the finalization of the legal process .
