Collaborative Network

Case managers play a critical role in ensuring the coordination of client-centred services.

Often, various actors are involved in client cases, including clients, service providers, data

managers, customers, and case managers. Efficient case coordination requires collaboration with

all stakeholders involved in client cases (Frankel, 2018). Through collaboration, case managers

and clients can share information, ensuring they are aligned with service coordination strategies

and goals.

Personal Approaches

As a case manager, I would utilize various personal approaches in the bid to develop

collaborative networks. For instance, attending networking events and seminars is one of the

approaches that could help my network as a case manager. Attending seminars and lectures is a

great way to meet other individuals and a chance to socialize with other professionals from other

agencies within the clients' case networks. The study by Supper et al. (2015) emphasizes the

importance of common interest in collaboration and the challenges of information sharing,

responsibility, and confidentiality. The other approach would include volunteering to help in

mutually beneficial networking relationships. Building effective collaborative networks can be

time-consuming, and this would require being proactive in establishing relationships with others

through volunteering to help, such as being kind and helpful to contacts. Being honest and

intentional towards service to the clients' interests thus would help build trust with other

stakeholders involved in the client case and thus build strong networks.

Professional Approaches
3

Professional networking for case managers is essential in ensuring efficient operations

and improving client outcomes. As a future case manager, there are various professional

approaches I would use to develop collaborative networks. For instance, I would utilize

networking platforms with the aim of developing professional connections. Networking

platforms such as LinkedIn offer platforms to share insights and ideas on collaboration and help

build professional relationships around the client's case to improve outcomes. Similarly, I would

form partnerships with other stakeholders in the client's case network. Developing partnerships

help to easily coordinate services necessary to handle specific client cases and improve outcomes

(Frankel, 2018). Collaborating professional networking helps boost expertise and open avenues

for new opportunities.

Networking strategies

Networking is critical for success as a case manager. In the bid to ensure success, I would

thus employ various strategies, including maintaining relationships. For example, I will ensure to

keep in touch with my contacts by sending emails and attending meetings together, among other

activities. Sharing knowledge is the other strategy for developing collaborative networking. By

offering to share relevant information with my contacts within the clients' network, I will be able

to establish myself as an expert and will help build trust with lasting relationships. Similarly,

being proactive is the other strategy for developing networking collaborations. Taking the

initiative to reach out to contacts within the clients' network will help improve collaborative

efforts (Frankel, 2018). Also, being proactive will help explore new opportunities and help stay

ahead of the curve to ensure the improvement of client outcomes.

Benefits Of Inter-Organizational Collaboration

4

Interorganizational collaboration relationships often occur at individual and

organizational levels. With the increase in process complexity and ambiguity, inter-

organizational collaboration presents various benefits to clients and case managers, including

improved services, resource sharing, and conflict reduction (Harris, 2012). For instance, a strong

corporation within the organization ensures the exchange of information, which helps case

managers with relevant knowledge and information to better deliver the client's services. On the

other hand, increased inter-organizational collaboration reduces agency conflict, leading to

improved client services.

Local Resources

Resources ranging from social, welfare, housing, health, and vocational services are often

listed in government directories. Below is a list of the five best local resource services to start my
