INTRODUCTION
Good afternoon, teacher Cynthia Cabrera and classmates.
My name is ….., and this is my team: Grecia Zamora, Diana Alva, Gabriela Silva …..,
Vianka Camino, Jazmín Caballero, and Teresa Galvez.
Today, we will present our project: “READY FOR THE PARTY!”
In this short play, each character will talk about what they do in their free time, their shopping
experience, and their favorite things.
We hope you enjoy it!

DEVELOPMENT
SCENE 1: At the University
(The girls are sitting on a bench talking.)
Grecia: Hi, girls! What are you doing now?
Gabriela: I’m listening to music. What about you, Diana?
Diana: I’m reading a magazine about fashion. I love clothes.
Vianka: I’m talking to my cousin. She’s also coming to the party!
Jazmín: I’m watching funny videos, but I need a new outfit for tonight.
Teresa: I’m going to cook dinner later. But now I need to find a nice dress.
Andrea: Perfect! I work at a store with Grecia and Diana.
Grecia: Yes, we can help you choose something great.
Gabriela: That’s amazing! I need a dress too.
Jazmín: Let’s go now! We don’t have much time.
Diana: Ok, girls. Follow us to the store.
All: Let’s go shopping!

SCENE 2: At the Store

(In the Store: Diana, Grecia, and Andrea are the sellers. Gabriela, Jazmín, Vianka, and
Teresa are the customers.)

Diana: Welcome to our store! Can I help you?

Gabriela: Yes, please. I want a dark green dress for the party.

Grecia: What size are you?

Gabriela: Small, but could you bring a large dress, please?

Andrea: Sure! Do you like this one?

Gabriela: Yes, it’s beautiful! How much is it?

Andrea: It’s 50 soles.

Jazmín: Hi! I’m looking for a pink skirt. Could you help me?

Diana: Yes! Here’s one. Do you want to try it?

Jazmín: Yes. Oh! I also like this orange jacket. How much is it?

Grecia: It’s 60 soles.

Jazmín: Could you repeat that?

Grecia: 60 soles.

Vianka: Excuse me, can I try on this sweater?

Andrea: Yes, the fitting room is over there.

Vianka: Thanks. I don’t like shirts, but I love sweaters.

Diana: This one is soft and warm. Try it on!

Vianka: Great! I’ll buy it. Do you have it in red?

Grecia: Yes, one moment.

Teresa: Hi! Could you help me, please? I want a purple dress.

Andrea: Here you go. It’s very popular.

Teresa: I love purple. It’s my favorite color.

Diana: Would you like to try it?

Teresa: Yes, please. And do you have a scarf too?

Grecia: Yes! Look at these options.

Andrea: You all look great! Ready for the party?

Gabriela: Of course! Let’s wait here for a taxi.

Jazmín: Girls, what’s your favorite sport?

Teresa: I love swimming. I swim every weekend.

Grecia: I play volleyball. I practice with my friends.

Diana: I like basketball, but I can’t play well.

Vianka: I love going to the “Modelo Market”. It has food and clothes and I often go with
friends.

Gabriela: Do you like shopping, Andrea?

Andrea: Yes! My favorite store is this one, of course!

Jazmín: My favorite time of day is the morning. It’s quiet.

Teresa: And I love the afternoon. I can relax and watch TV.

All (laughing): We’re ready now!

CONCLUSION
That was our dialogue about our free time, shopping experience, and favorite things.
Each of us has different hobbies and styles, but we always enjoy spending time together.
Thank you for your attention!
