Social Media
Nowadays, most people, particularly teens, are glued to their phones, browsing
through social media platforms such as Facebook, Snapchat, Tiktok, and others.
The internet has progressed in a variety of ways. It may be used to raise
awareness, market your business, and so on. It may, however, be used to
promote hatred, fake news, death threats, and false stories. Celebrities and
young people are the most commonly targeted persons on the bad side of social
media.
Spending too much time on the Internet can be both entertaining and hazardous.
You may make friends with folks from all around the world. Of course, there is a
disadvantage to meeting strangers you meet online. They may be a creep at
times, harassing youngsters or manipulating them for what they desire. People
who witnessed this will most likely suffer from emotional and mental damage as a
result of the occurrence.
Most people have received death threats from others, particularly celebrities or
influencers. If a person receives too many death threats and hatred from others,
it can lead to severe depression or, in the worst-case scenario, death. They will
commit themselves because they can no longer bear the hatred. Young children
are also utilizing Social Media, which is harmful to them. They can learn what
adults do inappropriately, such as hearing words that are too obscene for children
to hear, forcing them to mature and comprehend things too soon.
Be cautious about what you put on social media, since it might be used to doxx
or hack your personal accounts. It is still acceptable to use the internet, but be
cautious of its negative aspects. We can still make new friends online, but be
cautious about who you befriend since you never know if they are nice or
harmful.
