To determine the complementary angle of a given angle, subtract the given angle from 90°. Thus, for a 50° angle, the complementary angle is 90° - 50° = 40° .

First, review the tally marks for each fruit type to determine the number of students who prefer each fruit. Count the tally marks under each fruit category to get the total. Identify the fruit with the highest tally as the most liked and the one with the lowest tally as the least liked. Specifically, guava is favored by 11 students, making it the most liked, while grapes, preferred by 4 students, are the least liked. Additionally, sum the number of students for each fruit category as needed for further analysis .

First, convert all units to the same system if they differ. Multiply the weight of one item by the total number of items. For example, if each box weighs 12kg 145g, 16 such boxes will weigh 16 × (12kg + 0.145kg) = 16 × 12.145kg = 194.32kg .

To find the average price per item, sum up all the prices and divide by the number of items. The total sum of the prices 750, 680, 793, 745, and 702 is 3670. There are five items, so average price = 3670 / 5 = 734 .

To calculate the area of the verandah surrounding a rectangular hall, first find the total area including both the hall and verandah, then subtract the area of the hall itself. If the hall is 35m long and 20m wide and the verandah is 4m wide, the total dimensions of the outer rectangle are (35+2*4)m by (20+2*4)m. Calculate the area of this larger rectangle and subtract the area of the hall. Total area = 43m * 28m = 1204m². Area of the hall = 35m * 20m = 700m². Therefore, the area of the verandah is 1204m² - 700m² = 504m² .

To compute the volume of a room, use the formula: Volume = length × breadth × height. For a room with length 5m, breadth 3.5m, and height 2.5m, the volume is 5 × 3.5 × 2.5 = 43.75 cubic meters .

To find the average salary, calculate the total salary by multiplying the number of employees in each group by their respective salaries, sum these totals, and then divide by the total number of employees. Here, 15 clerks earn Rs.25,000 each and 5 officers earn Rs.60,000 each. Total salary = (15 × 25,000) + (5 × 60,000) = 375,000 + 300,000 = 675,000. There are 20 employees in total, so average salary = 675,000 / 20 = Rs.33,750 .

To calculate a supplementary angle, subtract the given angle from 180°. For an angle of 80°, the supplementary angle is 180° - 80° = 100° .

Start by converting the time duration to hours and minutes. Add the journey duration to the starting time. Therefore, starting at 10:30 PM, add 4 hours to reach 2:30 AM, then add the remaining 25 minutes to arrive at 2:55 AM the next day .

To represent age data in a table, categorize the ages into appropriate intervals, tally each age count within each interval, and record it in the table. For instance, using intervals 11-15, 16-20, 21-25, 26-30, and 31-35, the data should be sorted and tallied. Once tabulated, to create a bar graph, label the age groups on the x-axis and the number of individuals on the y-axis. Plot bars for each age group according to the tally count, ensuring visual representation reflects the table accurately .
