at the University of Baguio in Baguio City, Philippines last April 2, 2011. I pursued a Master of
Arts in Elementary Education at Baguio Central University in Baguio City, Philippines last May
16, 2015. I finished my Doctor of Philosophy in Administration and Supervision at Baguio
Central University in Baguio City, Philippines last March 2019.
I am a passionate and hardworking educator who believes that all children are capable of
learning when given developmentally-appropriate learning opportunities.

Why do you become a teacher?

There are two major reasons why I became a teacher. First, I want to make my family
proud to obey them to finish our education, since my parents did not finish their
education because of poverty. Second, teaching is my passion and it is the only field
of course where I enjoy and where I become more effective .
How do you measure teacher success?
In my own opinion, teacher’s success can’t be seen on how you are promoted in your
job, but on how many students you’ve handled graduated successfully because you’re
the one who completed the missing piece of their learnings.

Classroom management
A classroom management plan should maintain order in the classroom, have positive
communication between teacher and student, teacher should mostly be in charge, rules
should be made together, including the teacher and students, student should be aware of
rules and consequences, and there should be less discipline and more teaching taking place
in the classroom.

When you walk into my classroom, you will see students talking and sharing ideas to each
other or to group. They will be working in groups and doing hands-on activities. My classroom
is conducive to learning it will be bright and inviting for students. I have pictures and posters
of different core subjects to help them understant what we are learning in class. I have a big
wall of displaying student’s work in class to motivate them to do their best in every tasks or
projects we are working on. I have focus wall displaying the daily lesson objectives and
learning targets for the week. In this way students can go back and refer to them. I prefer
tables over desk and if I have desks, I put them together in groups because I want my
students to collaborate during class.

Lesson planning
A good lesson plan must have the following key components to get the desired results. On is
objective. Having a clear goal in the beginning of the lesson will help students know the
expectations required from them . make sure the objectives should be communicated to the
students in the beginning and must be visible in the classroom so that students can go back
and refer to it. Next is the engagement strategies. Students must be actively engaged in the
lessons and the teacher must act as a facilitator only. They msut be working and showing
involvement during the lessons so they can find meaning on the topic being discussed. Using
strategies such as cooperative learning or working in small groups can help in making sure
students are engaged during class.

How you interact with your students

Know your students. In addition to their names and experiences, determine their skills
and knowledge. ...Create a welcoming learning environment. Make students feel
comfortable and important. ...Set and communicate expectations. ...Encourage
students to interact positively with one another.

Parent interaction
Positive parent relationship is a must to have a successful school year. I always make sure to
reach out to my parents and provide them an easy access to communicate with me when
they have important questions or clarifications during the school year. When I talk to parents
about their child’s performance in class, I focus on the success of their child and the unique
abilities that I have observed while working in class. If there are behavior issues that I need to
inform the parents, I make sure that I am not highlighting the problem behavior only but also
solutions on how we can work together to help the child improve and be successful in class.
Constant and consistent follow-up is a must.

Student rapport
Building Trust and relationships with the students ,must established in the beginning of the
school year. They must know and feel that you care for them and you sincerely want them to
be together with the students is also an effective way to manage a class. In this way, students
fell ownership and responsible to follow the agreed rules in class. Finally, I make sure I have
documentation of problem behavior during conference or when the need arise. Parent
involvement is a must.

I strive to provide the highest quality of learning by implementing hands-on experiences

where students can be involved in the learning process.
