Good afternoon, my name is Dang Huynh My Duyen, and I am excited to be considered for the English
Teacher position at your International Primary School. I hold a Bachelor's degree in English Language
Teaching and have been teaching English to primary school students for over 5 years. My teaching
philosophy is centered around creating a positive and engaging classroom environment where students
feel motivated and confident to learn. I am skilled in incorporating interactive activities, games, and
multimedia resources to make lessons dynamic and enjoyable. I am also experienced in differentiating
instruction to meet the diverse needs of students and providing constructive feedback to help them
improve. I am committed to fostering strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to

- I have a Bachelor's degree in English Education and over 5 years of experience teaching English to
primary school students in both local and international settings. I have a solid foundation in English
language skills and pedagogical techniques for teaching young learners. I am trained in using
communicative and interactive teaching methods to engage students and promote language
development.
2) How did you develop your English language skills, and what certifications or training have you
completed to enhance your teaching abilities?
- I have always been passionate about English language learning and pursued a Bachelor's degree in
English Education. I am also a certified TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages)
instructor, which has provided me with valuable training and insights on teaching English as a second
language. I regularly attend professional development workshops and conferences to stay updated with
the latest teaching strategies and techniques.
3) Can you share your teaching philosophy and approach when it comes to teaching English to
primary school students?
- My teaching philosophy revolves around creating a student-centered and inclusive learning
environment. I believe in using a communicative approach, where students are actively engaged in
meaningful language use through various activities such as role-plays, discussions, and games. I also
place a strong emphasis on building students' confidence in using English in real-life situations, while
respecting their individual learning styles and needs.
4) How do you incorporate interactive and engaging teaching methods to enhance student
learning and comprehension in the classroom?
- I believe that active participation and engagement are crucial for effective language learning. I
incorporate a variety of interactive teaching methods such as group work, pair work, and hands-on
activities to encourage students to actively practice their English skills. I also integrate technology,
authentic materials, and multimedia resources to make lessons engaging and relevant to students'
interests and experiences.
5) How do you differentiate your instruction to meet the diverse needs of students with varying
levels of English proficiency and learning styles?
- I understand that students have different levels of English proficiency and learning styles, and I strive to
differentiate my instruction to meet their diverse needs. I use a variety of instructional strategies, such
as visual aids, modified materials, and scaffolded activities, to support students at different language
levels. I also provide additional support or challenges, as needed, and regularly assess students' progress
to guide my instructional decisions.
6) Tell us about your experience in designing and implementing English curriculums for primary
school students. How do you ensure that the curriculum meets the needs of different age
groups and language levels?
- I have experience in designing and implementing English curriculums that are aligned with age-
appropriate language goals and standards. I ensure that the curriculum meets the needs of different age
groups and language levels by using a spiral approach, where language skills are introduced, practiced,
and reviewed in a systematic manner. I also modify the curriculum and instructional materials based on
ongoing assessment data and feedback from students to ensure that it is engaging and relevant.

One of the unforgettable tourist attraction in Korea is the Namsan Tower which is located in Seoul. It’s
not only a famous tourist attraction in Korea, but it’s also a symbol of Seoul. It is the iconic filming
location for many popular Korean dramas (e.g. My Love From The Star, Boys Over Flowers) and TV
shows (e.g. Running Man).
Besides, its also well-knowned about fantastic day and night views, lots of captivating activities and
numerous dining options, adventure theme parks, observatory with 360-degree panoramic view of
Seoul, photo-taking hot spots, scenic hiking trails.
I visited Seoul on the last weekend during the fall-winter changing season with my husband. We tried a
lot of delicious food and saw a lot of beautiful scenery. Namsan tower is famous for the ‘tree of love”, a
designated area around the base of the tower where couples can publicly declare their eternal love by
placing love locks. You can find love locks in all shapes and colours hanging at every outdoor railings
at Namsan Tower.
To be honest, whenever I go traveling with the family, I am very excited, and I feel very relaxed. It is
exciting to watch new places, experience new things, and meet new people. I enjoy it a lot. So when I
have a chance, I normally go traveling.
