goal is to make people’s lives better. I totally agree with this idea because
not only can science greatly extend people’s age / help with people’s age
extension / life expectancy, but it also brings simplicity into their lives /
provides convenience for people’s lives. In addition, I will also acknowledge a
downside of science regarding people’s welfare.
Firstly, science extends people's age. For example, in the United States,
doctors now use modern pills that are made with the help of AI-supported
machines and supercomputers. These tools help them analyze the genes of
people diagnosed with cancer and therefore provide better treatment
options. This results in a higher chance of recovery and longer life
expectancy for the patients. Additionally / Secondly / In addition to that, Not
only that / Furthermore, in the past, people mainly relied on walking or riding
animals for travelling, so their journeys could take a long time and required
significant effort. Today, thanks to scientific innovations like cars and
airplanes, people can commute from one place to another faster and with
much less effort. While cars offer personal freedom and flexibility, airplanes
have transformed global travelling, allowing people to cross countries and
continents in just a few hours, something unimaginable in the past.

In conclusion, I totally agree that the main purpose of science should

Even though science sometimes causes problems, like side effects from
medicine or addiction to painkillers, I believe the advantages are more
important. Science should continue to focus on helping people, but it must
also be used carefully to avoid harming them.
