Excel Basics for Data Processing

The document presents a training session on basic data processing using Microsoft Excel, focusing on fundamental functions such as SUM, COUNT, SUMIF, and COUNTIF. It also covers basic statistical functions like AVERAGE, MAX, MIN, and the IF function for logical comparisons. The conclusion emphasizes the importance of these functions for efficient data processing and decision-making.

MAX / MIN Function

The max/min function is used to
find the maximum and minimum
values from a set of data. The
formula writing is "=MAX(range)
or =MIN(range)".

3 Logical If Function
The if function is a logical function used to perform logical comparisons
between values and estimates. This function requires logical operators.

Logical operators in Excel are

used to compare 2 values.

3 Logical If Function
The if logic function is used to determine
decisions based on certain conditions.
Uses the value “true” if the condition is
met or “benar” and uses the value “false”
if the condition is not met or “salah”.
The formula is written as
"=IF(logical_test;value_if_true;
value_if_false)".

CONCLUSION
Basic functions used in Microsoft Excel to process data
efficiently. Some basic functions used are SUM, COUNT,
SUMIF, COUNTIF and Mathematical Functions that Use
standard arithmetic operators such as addition (+),
subtraction (-), multiplication (*), and division (/). In
addition, Basic Statistical Functions such as AVERAGE,
MAX/MIN and IF Functions are used to compare values
and determine results based on given conditions.
Using TRUE values if the conditions are met and FALSE if
the conditions are not met.
