We all walk into the school with our bags full — books, assignments… and sometimes,
dreams. Today, I’m here with one of mine.
A very cheerful morning to everyone present, i would like to address respected principal sir,
vice principal mam, honourable teachers, my peers and juniors.
I am Garvita from class 12th D, today i feel honoured to stand on this podium of ISSS not as
just a student but as a storyteller, For the past few months, I’ve been working on something
that started off as a simple idea… and turned into pages full of emotions, characters, and
pieces of me. And today, I’m beyond excited to announce the release of my very first book
— ‘Shadows of the split’.
Before moving forward I extend my sincere appreciation to all the literature educators who
have shaped my learning and growth over the years.
"Shadows of Split" is a gripping psychological thriller following Atharva, a detective
entangled in a string of random, unsolvable murders. As he digs deeper, he begins to suffer
memory blackouts and disturbing visions. With reality slipping and trust fading, Atharva must
confront a terrifying possibility — the killer might be closer than he ever imagined… maybe
even within himself.
I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who has been a part
of my journey.
In conclusion, I want to acknowledge that this journey hasn’t been perfect. There have been
mistakes—whether in the printing process, the text size, the binding, or other details that
didn’t go as planned. I deeply apologize for those imperfections, and I appreciate your
understanding and patience. Every mistake has been a lesson, and I am committed to
learning and improving with each step.
Looking ahead, I’m excited to announce that I have another project in the works, one that I’m
pouring my heart into. It will surely be released by the first week of June, and I can’t wait to
share it with all of you. Thank you for being part of this journey, and stay tuned for what’s to
come.
I’m thrilled to announce that my book is now available on Amazon, making it accessible to a
wider audience. It will also soon be in the school library for those who wish to read it. I truly
hope you take the time to explore it, and if you do, I would be incredibly grateful for your
feedback. Your thoughts and reflections mean the world to me, especially as I head into my
Class 12th year. Every comment, every piece of feedback helps me grow as a writer and a
person. Thank you for your support—your words matter more than you know.
As i leave the podium, i would like to share a quote with all of you
There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.
This quote speaks to the core of my journey. Writing has been a way to free the stories
inside me, and I hope it inspires others to do the same. If anyone reading this has an untold
story they’ve been carrying, I would be more than happy to help you find your voice and
share it with the world. You’re not alone in this journey, and I’m here to support you every
step of the way.
Thank you and have a great day ahead.
