Name of Organization: Department of Education
Name of Organization: UNISEF
Exercise No. 4: Reflection Paper
1. Go through your reading of the introduction to office and system management. Thus the
definitions, principle and functions of office and system management works in your daily life?
On what way? Site example:
2. On what aspect are you going to change of your system to improve your productivity?
3. What have you learn after understanding the principle of office and system management?
The importance of office management in achieving organizational goals cannot be
overstated. Office management contributes to the smooth running of corporate operations. It
ensures a constant flow of contact between departments and levels of authority. The brain of
the body is office management. The definition, principles and functions of office and system
management works in my daily life because it helps me to plan, control, coordinate, organize
and command. For example, in planning, I plan my everyday life on what will I do first before I
do anything. I have a plan so that my works will not be loaded and do it smoothly according to
my plan. Controlling helps me to control my use of gadgets for entertainment because I should
focus on my works. Coordinating in all ways so that there will be no regret in not doing
anything. Organized in all ways so that my plan will not be destroyed and command myself to
do the school works.
I am going to change my system to improve my productivity by dealing everything in good
and proper way. I will do it wholeheartedly so that I will have a good and concrete office
management. I will put into action everything I learned in this subject and do my daily routine
with determination. I will change my attitude so that I will have a very productive day. I will also
improve my decision making skills because sometimes, I have a bad decision which lead me to
regret at the end of the day. My planning should always be organized and well controlled by
me.
I have learned in the principle of office and system management is that we should avoid
those things that are not helpful in our daily tasks. We should use a simple forms to be filled in
and increase the efficiency of the office work. Try to avoid everything that you think might
ruined your activities. Always apply the principle of management by exception. There should
always be a goal in your office and target it and achieve it in all means of achieving it. Work
harder and always consider the emotions of your employees.
