Problem Identification, Definition & Modification
1.1 ABSTRACT
The Adventure Tourism website is a comprehensive travel planning and booking
platform that offers users a wide array of travel services, including flight booking,
hotel check-ins, food services, and travel pick-up/drop. It aims to make travel
easier, more affordable, and customizable through an interactive UI and best-
selling packages. This report delves into the various system modules, technologies
used, and future enhancements of the platform.
1.2 EXISTING SYSTEM
Existing travel booking systems offer separate modules for hotels, flights, and tour packages.
However, these systems often lack integration, user-friendly interfaces, and regional diversity.
Adventure Tourism addresses these gaps by offering a unified portal with curated travel
packages and user-friendly exploration tools.
1.3 TECHNOLOGY OVERVIEW
Adventure Tourism leverages modern web development technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript,
and responsive frameworks.
It integrates APIs for flight and hotel bookings and features dynamic content to display packages,
promotions, and customer reviews.

System Requirement Gathering Specification
2.1 REQUIREMENT GATHERING AND ANALYSIS
Requirements were gathered through analysis of traveler needs, competitive websites, and
usability studies. Major requirements include intuitive navigation, visually appealing layout,
mobile responsiveness, diverse packages, and real-time price filtering.
2.2 LANGUAGES AND DATABASES OF THE PROJECT
Languages Used:
- HTML5, CSS3 for frontend structure and design
- JavaScript for client-side interactivity
- PHP/Python for backend logic
- SQL/MySQL for database management
Databases:
- MySQL or PostgreSQL is recommended for storing user data, booking details, and destination
content.
