1.

Intro, Business Model USP, Competition and Market Analysis

Good [morning/afternoon]. Thank you for joining us. We’re Karughor, an online
tailoring startup transforming custom fashion in Bangladesh. Our pitch takes
under 10 minutes.
We make personalized, perfect-fit clothing accessible. Our platform blends
craftsmanship with tech, letting customers design outfits, see 3D previews,
and get timely delivery. An optional store adds a hands-on touch. Our mission:
empower self-expression through flawless garments. We deliver tailored
clothes accurately with 3D previews for max satisfaction, plus fabric choice
and tracking.
The market’s ready. Bangladesh loves bespoke fashion, driven by smartphone
growth and demand for sustainable styles. We target tech-savvy 15-40-year-
olds—urban pros and conscious consumers seeking affordable custom fits.
Local tailors and boutiques can’t match our tech or ethical edge. Trends favor
personalization, and as first-movers, we’ll lead online tailoring.

2. Description of Venture + Production Plan

Karughor’s venture empowers through fashion. Customers use our app to
design garments and input measurements. Our artisans—women, third
gender, disabled, freelancers, students—craft each piece. Orders go to homes
or our Tejgaon warehouse. We earn via custom orders, add-ons like
embroidery, and a future ready-to-order line, balancing ethics and profit.
Our production is precise. Customers submit designs; we verify them. Fabrics,
sourced reliably, are cut and stitched to specs by artisans. We check quality at
our warehouse—fit, stitching, finish—then iron, pack with care instructions,
and ship or prep for pickup, ensuring satisfaction every time.

3. Operational Plan + Marketing Plan

We operate lean. Our app offers a catalog, payments, and tracking. Artisans
work remotely or at our Tejgaon hub, trained and fairly paid. The warehouse
handles quality and logistics, scaling via a distributed workforce.
Our marketing uses 7 Ps. We offer bespoke apparel, priced BDT 800-2,000:
Top Only at 1,000, Bottom Only at 800, Outfit at 1,600, Premium at 2,000,
styling subscription at 300/month, add-ons at 150 and 100. We’re online with
a Tejgaon base. Promotion starts with market penetration to build users,
aiming to be the online tailoring icon. We’ll roll out packages later for profit—
30% on influencers for Eid, 20% on Instagram, TikTok, 25% on website blogs,
10% on emails, 5% on workshops. Our artisans and support ensure quality,
our process is seamless, and eco-packaging shows our care.

4. Organizational Plan + Risk and Sustainability Assessment

Our team drives success. Ahsanul Kabir, CEO, leads app vision. Fatimatuj
Jahura Arin runs operations. Ireen Akter handles marketing. Kazi Jesan designs
trends. Tasneem Khan secures finances. Tanim Morshed hires inclusively.
We’re tech, fashion, and impact experts, tied to e-commerce growth.
Risks include customer-artisan miscommunication causing delays, app
glitches, competitor challenges, delivery slowdowns, fabric shortages, growth
straining capacity, poor fits hurting reputation, and scrutiny over
sustainability. We prioritize eco-sourcing and waste reduction to stay ethical
and resilient.

5. Strategic Business Growth Plan + Stakeholder Policy and Considerations

We grow strategically. Years 1-2: launch app with catalog, previews; train
artisans; market via influencers; refine with feedback. Years 3-5: add AI
styling, body matching, collaborations; scale training, suppliers. Year 6+: use
AR, eco-materials; enter South Asian markets; lead ethically. Milestones: Q1
2025 app beta, Q3 2025 breakeven, 2027 AI, 2030 expansion.
Stakeholders benefit—customers get custom fits, artisans gain jobs, suppliers
secure ties, investors see growth, influencers boost us. We align with startup
and labor policies, ensuring compliance for trust.

6. Financial Plan + Conclusion

We need BDT 2.3M: 500,000 for app, 200,000 for marketing, 1.6M for training,
infrastructure. Breakeven is 562 units in Year 1—order value 1,600, variable
cost 800. Year 2 grows 50% to ~840 units, then 30-40% in Years 3-5. Funding:
1M equity, 500,000 investors, 300,000 grants, 500,000 loan (10%, 5 years).
Costs cover wages, delivery, app upkeep.
Karughar redefines fashion with tech, inclusivity, reliability. With 2.3M, we’ll
break even in Year 1, build an iconic brand, and create impact. Join us. Thank
you. Questions?
