0 FEE STRUCTURE AND GENERAL INFORMATION


The fee structure comprises Counseling cum Registration Fee, Security Fee, Library Fee,
Sports Fee, Examination Fee and Academic Fee applicable to National and International
Students of the University. The details of the fee structure for Indian Nationals comprising
the three components Table A, B and C are follows:

Note:
i. University Fee will be charged semester-wise.
ii. University Fee Waiver for SC/ST candidates is as per Uttar Pradesh government
norms/rules.
iii. Security Fee (Caution Money) of Rupees Ten Thousand only will be charged
for all Courses / Programmes. This is refundable after submission of no dues certificate
from all Departments through the Dean of the school. Security Fee (Caution Money)
is not applicable for Foreign/International Students.
iv. In case, a newly admitted candidate applies for change or switchover to another
programme, she/he may not have to deposit registration fee again. However, this

flexibility of registration fee is permissible once only.
v. In case of Lateral Entry programme, the fee will be applicable as per 1st semester
norms.
vi. University is a residential University, and therefore, all registered students shall
reside in Hostel assigned to him/her. However, the students are exempted in some
specific programmes (Refer point no. vii).
vii. Hostel Exemption (Eligibility)
a. All newly admitted students shall reside in University Hostels. University has
granted hostel exemption despite being a residential University considering
the larger interest of students and had made provisions for exemption subject
to fulfilling following categories:

• Category-1: Programmes Exempted from Mandatory Hostel Accommodation

and [Link]. (Hons.), (c). All M.A. and [Link]., (d). BSW and MSW, (e). B. Ed., (f).
[Link].(Hons.), (g). ITEP, and (h). BPES.
• Category-2: Resident of Gautam Buddha Nagar (U.P.)
• Category-3: Married P.G./Ph.D. Students.

If newly admitted students belong to any of the above three categories (Category-1, 2,
3) and require hostel exemption, then candidate has to fill exemption form and attach
any one of the documents given below.

E. Rent-Agreement F. Marriage Certificate (only for Category-3)

b. Students (preferably in their 1st and 2nd year) may be allotted double seated rooms
in the hostel if single- seated rooms are not available. It would be an exclusive
prerogative of the University to allocate a kind of room (Single/Double seated). The
student shall be charged according to the type of room allotted.
c. During the dissertation/internship, the exemption may be given only for mess
charges to such students going for outstation dissertation /internship.
d. The hostel exemption is applicable only to the newly enrolled students in the
Academic Session 2025-26. In case of students enrolled in the any courses seeking
hostel accommodation will be required to apply for accommodation, which will be
given for at least one year academic year subject to the availability.
e. The application for hostel exemption on the basis of chronic ailment may be
submitted to DSA office within 15 days from the closing date of admission.

f. No Hostel and/or mess exemption application will be considered after due date,
which will be within 15 days from the date of admission closing or as declared
through administrative order.
g. Mere submission of exemption application does not warrant its acceptance. Any
hostel and/or mess exemption is subject to the approval of the competent authority.
h. The University shall have the right to continue/ review exemption policy as and when
it deemed fit.
i. The student found using Hostel/Mess facility after getting exemption may have to
pay fine in addition to the disciplinary action and Hostel/Mess Fee for an Academic
Session.
j. Hostel Fee would be liable to change from time to time, as determined by the Fee
Review Committee.

1.2 Fee Structure for Foreign Nationals


The fee structure shall be decided or may the University from time to time. Common fee
(Table B), Academic fee (Table C) and Hostel fees (Table D) are same for the foreign
Nationals from SAARC and ASEAN Nations and India Nationals. Table A & E not
applicable.

A separate Registration fee will be charged from International Students which is as under:
i. Foreign Nationals of SAARC and ASEAN: One time registration fee of $US
500 (or equivalent in Indian Currency as per the be revised by the competent authority
of prevailing exchange rate) for Non-Technical and/or Non-Professional Programmes
of all the Schools, as the case may be. Whereas, US$ 1000 (or equivalent in Indian
Currency as per the prevailing exchange rate) for Technical and/ or Professional
Programmes of all the Schools, as the case maybe.

ii. International Students of other than SAARC and ASEAN Countries: One time

registration fee of US$ 100 (or equivalent in Indian Currency as per the prevailing
exchange rate) for Non-Technical and/or Non-Professional Programmes of all the
Schools, as the case may be. Whereas, US $1500 (or equivalent in Indian Currency as
per the prevailing exchange rate) for Technical and/or Professional Programmes of
all the Schools, as the case may be.

iii. One time registration fee of US$ 200 for Diploma/ Certificate programmes from
Foreign Nationals of SAARC and ASEAN Countries and US $ 400 for Diploma/
Certificate programmes from foreign nationals of other than SAARC and ASEAN
Countries.

iv. Fee Structure for DASA will be applicable as per the table given below:

1.3 Refund Policy


Voluntary withdrawal from the programme subject to adhering to the below given policy of the
University:

• Academic fee shall be refunded in case of withdrawal of admission from the


programme of study in which he/she is enrolled as per UGC norms.

• Security deposit shall be refunded in full.

• Once the hostel is allotted then hostel fee for the semester shall not be refunded
in case of withdrawal of admission.

• Mess fee shall be refunded to all the students on pro rata basis.

• The last date of seeking admissions, as communicated in the provisional


admission.
