What happens after I have submitted my application?
Once your application has been received, it will be reviewed by the Recruitment Team to determine if
your skills and experience are well aligned with the role.
How long will my application take to process?
Your application will be reviewed shortly after the closing date. While processing time can vary, we
strive to review all applications in a timely manner. Estimated processing time is between 1 to 2
weeks.
How will I be contacted?
We will either contact you on your phone number or email provided. If these have changed since your
application, please send your updated details to Recruitment@[Link].
I've been asked to complete a values-based assessment. What is this?
If you are asked to complete a values-based assessment, this is an online assessment to helps us better
understand if applicants have the attitude and job fit suitable for the role with Bolton Clarke. Please
make sure you have 10-15 minutes to complete this online test without disruption as soon as possible.
Do I need to let anyone know that the values-based assessment is complete?
No. As soon as you have completed the assessment, the Recruitment Team are automatically notified.
There is nothing further for you to do at this stage.
I have already completed a values-based assessment with Bolton Clarke. Do I
need to complete another assessment?
You will only be required to complete a new Values Based Assessment if you've applied for a different
type of role since you last completed the assessment. If you receive a message that you have already
completed the test when you click the assessment link, please contact
recruitment@[Link] as soon as possible to let us know.
Will my references on my resume be contacted without my knowledge?
No. Your references will not be contacted without your knowledge. Should we need to contact your
referees, we will let you beforehand.

How can I prepare for reference checks?
If we progress to reference checks, please be sure to contact your referees to let them know that we
will be contacting them. At minimum, we need 2 referee details however we advise you to have 3 or 4
ready. Details to prepare are: your referee’s full name, name of the organisation where you worked
together, your start and end dates with this employer, your referee’s job title, your referee’s work
email address, your referee’s contact number.
Will I be asked to undergo a pre-employment medical assessment?
If it is a requirement for this role, and if you are progressed to this stage, then you will be required to
undergo a pre-employment medical assessment. Part of this process will involve completion of an
online questionnaire and could also involve a Skype assessment.
Do I need to have a Police Check certificate now?
We do not need a Police Check certificate with your application however it is a Bolton Clarke
requirement that all employees provide a satisfactory Australian Police Clearance certificate either at
offer stage or as soon as possible thereafter.
Also, if you have lived overseas for more than 12 continuous months within the last 10 years, we will
need a police check issued from that country.
If you are successful in securing the job with us, we will discuss with you what you will need at that
stage.
What working rights do I need?
All Bolton Clarke employees must provide evidence of current valid working rights. If you are
successful, we will request some or all of these documents; Passport, Birth Certificate, Citizenship
Papers, Visa Documents, Photo ID.
