NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the constitution, read with
the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi‟s Notification No.7/1/65-Est(A) dtd.
16th February 1965 and the DoPT, New Delhi OM No. AB-14017/13/2016-Est(RR) dtd. 18th January
2017, the Administrator of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu hereby amends the rules
relating to recruitment to the General Central Services Group – “B” (Non Gazetted, Non Ministerial)
post of Vocational Instructor / Craft Instructor in the Govt. Industrial Training Institutes, UT
Administration of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu :-

1. Short Title and commencement:

(i) These rules may be called, the Administration of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman &
Diu, Vocational Instructor / Craft Instructor Group – “B” (Non Gazetted, Non
Ministerial) posts Recruitment Rules 2022
(ii) These shall apply to the posts specified in the column- I of the Schedule to these rules
(iii) These rules will come into effect from the date of publication of this notification in the
Official Gazette and will relate to appointment to the various posts made on or after this
date

2. Number of Posts, Classification and Level in the Pay Matrix :-

The number of posts, its classification and the level in the Pay Matrix attached there shall be
as specified in Column 2 to 4 of the Schedule to these rules, provided that the administrator of
DNH & DD may vary the number of posts in column-II of the said schedule from time to
time subject to exigencies of work.

3. Method of recruitment, age limit, qualifications etc.

The method of recruitment to the said posts, age limit, qualifications and other matters
relating thereto shall be as specified in column 5 to 13 of the aforesaid Schedule.

4. Disqualification:-

No person

(a) Who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living or ;
(b) Who having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person,
shall be eligible for appointment to the said post provided that the Administrator of DNH &
DD may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal law applicable to

5. Power to relax:-

Where the Administrator of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu , is of the opinion that
it is necessary or expedient to do so, he may by order for reason to be recorded in writing
relax any of the provisions of these rules with respect to any class or category of persons.

6. Saving :-

Nothing in these rules shall effect reservations, relaxation of age limit and such other
concessions required to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, the Schedule Tribes and Other
Backward Classes and other special categories of person in accordance with the orders issued
by the Central Government of India from time to time in this regard.

Basic remuneration Rs. 30,000/-per month and the appointee shall be eligible for an
appearance fee of Rs.450/-for each case subject to maximum limit of Rs. 50,000/- as consolidated

DECLARATION
WHEREAS, vide Preliminary Notification No. 3/97/LND-ACQ/2020-21/5434 dated
18/11/2021, it was Notified under section 11 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in
Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, that the lands described in the Schedule
annexed with the said Notification were needed or likely to needed for the public purpose, namely for
the purpose of Acquisition of land for widening of road starting from Dholar to Jampore, Moti Daman
(Additional proposal).

WHEREAS, as required under sub section (2) of section 15 of the Right to Fair
Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, No
objection was received and a report was submitted to the Government Authority i e. Administration of
Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu for the proceed with the acquisition process and the same
has been approved by the Appropriate Government i.e. Administrator of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and
Daman & Diu.

AND WHEREAS, the UT Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu is
satisfied on the basis of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition,

Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, that the said land as described in the schedule hereto
hereafter referred to as the said land/lands is need for the public purpose.

NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby declared under the Provision of Section 19 of the Land
Acquisition & Rehabilitation Act that the said lands are required for a public purpose, namely,
