Rights are social legal and ethical principles which are provided to every person in society in
order to provide them freedom in different aspects of life. It is kind of rule about what a person
is allowed to do our have.
Human Rights:
These are basic rights and freedom that belongs to every person in the world from birth.
These rides can never be taken from anybody that can be restricted.

Why we need Human Rights?
We need human rights because they ensure that every person is treated with dignity,
equality and respect. They protect freedoms and allow us to live our lives without fear of

discrimination or oppression. Human’s rights promote fairness justice and the well-being of
individual and communities.
Political Freedom In Pakistan:
Pakistan was created to uphold the principles of democracy; its history is rife with military
coups in Pakistan, and for most of its history after Independence has been ruled by military
dictator who declares themselves president. The 2013 Pakistan general election were the first
election in the country where there was a constitution transfer of power from one civilian
government to another. The elections were marred by terrorist attacks that killed 100 and
wounded more than 500 and widespread rigging of polls. The highest in the country's recorded
history.
Human Rights Issues In Pakistan:
The Constitution of Pakistan provides fundamental rights to its citizens which include
freedom of speech, religion, thought, opinion and freedom of life etc. Pakistan is a developing
country and facing different crisis but there are also different issues related humans rights of its
Citizens.
1. Attack On Civil Society:
Civil society means a community of people having some interest and customs and in
Pakistan Civil societies are under attack for example. Attacks on education Institutes
threaten the life of students which arose fear among these students and parents which
is a threat to both education and life of the student and teachers.

2. Freedom Of Religion:
Pakistan's Constitution provide rights to the minorities to practice their religion
freely, as everybody has equal right to predice his/her religion, but minorities are at higher
risk in Pakistan as One of the church was attacked by terrorists in Peshawar and also
Gurudwara was attacked by terrorists.
Such acts of violence not only violate the fundamental human rights to freedom of
religion but also disrupt the peace and harmony within communities. It's essential for the
government and Society to come together to condemn these acts support the effected
communities, and take measures to ensure the safety and security of all places of worship.
3. Women Rights:
Many women in Pakistan face different problems for example rape, acid attack
and domestic violence etc. Majority of rural population is facing such problems where
women become victim of different attacks which ruined their lives. There are some
areas where women's rights are still concern Include gender equality, assess to
education, employment opportunities and freedom of movement.
Unfortunately there have been cases where women are subjected to violence or
even killed in the name of preserving family honor. This is a clear violation of their rights
to life and security.
4. Children Rights:
It is one of important issue in Pakistan. Child marriage is common in rural areas of
our country where most of the girls under 18 are already married which result in the
increase in population and lack of interest in studies, lack of education rises different
threats economy of country is affected and majority children are involved in suicide
bombing.

Child marriage has severe consequences for the physical, emotional, and social
well-being of children. Girls who are married at a young age often face increased risk of
domestic violence, limited access to education, and healthcare, and early pregnancies
which can lead to complications and health risks.
5. Freedom Of Expressions:
Freedom of expression is a fundamental human right that allows individual to
express their thoughts, opinion and ideas without fear of censorship or reprisal. It's
important to note that promoting and protecting freedom of expression requires
ongoing efforts. Advocacy, legal reforms, and public awareness are crucial in ensuring
that everyone's right to express themselves freely is respected.
6. Terrorism:
Terrorism is a significant issue that Pakistan has been grappling with for many years.
The country has faced numerous acts of terrorism. One example after terrorism in
Pakistan is the attack on the Army Public School in Peshawar in 2014. It was tragic
incident where militants stormed the school and targeted innocent children and staff
members. This act of terrorism resulted in the loss of over 140 lies mostly children.
Another example, attack in 2008 it was a devastating incident where a truck filled with
explosives was detonated outside the hotel causing massive destruction and loss of life.
The attack targeted a symbol of international presence and resulted in the deaths of
both Pakistani and foreign nations.
7. Human Rights Defenders: Human right defenders are Layers, Journalist or
activists which are also subjected to attack. Threats and harassment as they are able to
raise their voice against the unlawful acts by criminals.

8. Forced Conversions:
In Pakistan Hindu Muslims girls are kidnapped raped forcefully converted to Islam
and married to Muslim men. These girls are generally 12 to 19 year old. According to the
"Aurat Foundation" about 1000 non-Muslim girl are forcefully converted to Islam in
Pakistan every year.
Causes:
Some Islamic institutions and Clerics have been alleged to be involved in concerning
religious minorities to convert to Islam by threatening to harm or withhold economic
opportunities to members or minority groups who refuse to convert.
According to some child protection activities the forced conversion of young girls is
part of money making scheme involving corrupt public and religious figures who allow
girls to be converted to Islam and married to older men in exchange of for money.
In April 2012 three Hindu sisters were allegedly threatened into converting to
Islam their causes were appealed all the way to the Supreme Court of Pakistan where
the appeal was admitted but has remained unheard.
According to Ramesh Kumar Vankawani, a member of national assembly of
Pakistan, around 5 000 Hindu migrate from Pakistan to India every year due to fear of
forced conversion.
Reason: The Pakistan Council says that force of conversions is the primary reason for
the declining Hindu population in Pakistan.
9. Violence Against Women:
Violence against women means any act of gender based violence that results in or
is likely to result in a physical sexual or Psychological harm or suffering to women,
different violences against women like:
Economic violence

Psychological violence
emotional violence
physical violence
sexual violence
On Ongoing pattern of Behavior aimed to controlling a partner through fear
for example by using behavior which is violent and threatening. In most cases the
violent behavior is a part of a range of tactics to exercise power and control over
women and their children.
Physical Violence: It includes slaves, shoves hits punches, pushes being
thrown down stairs or across the room, kicking, twisting of arms, choking and being
burnt are stabbed.
Financial And Economic Abuse: It includes forcibly controlling another
person's money or other assets. It can also involve stealing cash, not along a victim
to take part in any financial decisions or preventing a victim from having a job.
10. Media Freedom:
Pakistan claim Pakistan values the role of free media.
Reality: Pakistan is 157 out of 180 for media Freedom in bottom 15%. The media in
Pakistan is targeted by both the civilian authorities and the military.
Blasphemy Laws: Pakistan's claim: The government of Pakistan is committed to
curb the misuse of blasphemy Laws.
Reality: The Pakistani NGO Centre for social Justice reported that in 2021 at least 84
people were accused of blasphemy in Pakistan and the three people were extra judiciary
killed in October 2022 two people were killed within days of each other for blasphemy.

Example: Tragic incident that happened in Pakistan Mishel Khan was a student it
Abdul Wali Khan University who was brutally beaten and killed by a mob in 2017. The
incident gained national and international attention sparking out range and discussion
about the misuse of blasphemy Laws and the need for better protection of Human
Rights in Pakistan.
Mishel Khan's death was devastating loss and it highlighted the importance of
promoting tolerance, respect, and freedom of expressions it is crucial to remember
Mishel Khan's story and continue advocating for the protecting of human rights and
freedom of expression in Pakistan around the world.
Qandeel Baloch: Qandeel Baloch for the Pakistani social media personality who
gained attention for her bold and controversial content Qandeel Baloch challenged
societal norms and advocated for women's rights and freedom for of expressions.
Unfortunately, she was tragically murdered in 2016, which sparked a national wide
conversation about honor killing and their need for stronger protection for women in
Pakistan.
Qandeel Baloch's story shed light on the dangers faced by women who dare to tell
challenge traditional expectations. Her legacy serves as a reminder of the ongoing
struggle for gender equality and the importance of creating a safe and inclusive Society
for all.
In 2010 foreign policy arranged Pakistan as number 10 on its failed States index placing
it in the "critical" category with such other failed or failing in States as Afghanistan the
democratic public Congo and Somalia. Pakistan consistently figures near the top of the
list of failed States year after year.
Transgender & Their Complications: Unfortunately, there have been
instances of discrimination and mistreatment towards transgender individuals in
Pakistan. For example, transgender individuals have faced verbal abuse, physical

violence, and harassment in public spaces. They have also been subjected to societal
stigma and exclusion, making it difficult for them to access education, employment, and
health care...
Transgender rights are a crucial aspect of human rights. They encompass the right for
transgender individuals to be recognized and respected according to their gender
identity.
1. Education & Employment: Transgender individuals should have equal
access to education and employment opportunities, free from discrimination and
harassment.
2. Protection From Violence: Transgender individuals often face high rates of
violence, including hate crimes, harassment, and bullying.
Conclusion: Every developed country's first priority is peace to maintain law and
order situation fees comes through progress and progress comes through basic
Human Rights it is high time to maintain peace of our country and provide our
citizen rights that they deserve.
