Dear Alex,
Thanks for your email! I almost forgot that Lucy’s birthday is coming up soon. It’s a great idea to
plan a surprise for her!
Between the choices, I think a party at your house would feel more friendly and comfortable. We
could all relax and have fun together. But if you think a meal at a restaurant would be better, I’m
happy with that too. Let me know what you think!
I’ll be free next weekend, so I can help with anything you need. For her present, since she likes
clothes, maybe we could pick something nice for her to wear. Let me know if you need more
ideas or help with the planning.

A good friend is someone who is kind, honest, and caring. They should be there to support you
during difficult times and also share happy moments with you. A good friend listens to you and
respects your feelings.
It’s nice if a friend has similar hobbies, but it’s not necessary. Having different interests can be
exciting because it allows you to learn new things from each other. However, it’s important to
share similar values and respect each other’s opinions.
In the end, a true friend accepts you for who you are, even if you have different opinions or
hobbies. That’s what makes a friendship strong and lasting.

I live in a house. It is a small house in the village near the city center. Everyone at my place is
very happy, friendly, caring, helping each other. And I really like that.

I have been living in my current house for about 5 years now. My family moved here when I
entered high school for convenience.

I live with my family consisting of father, mother, younger brother and me. My family is very
happy, often sharing the work with each other.

My favorite room is the bedroom. Because it is a place for me to relax, a private space, to sleep,
to rest after tiring days of activities.

What I don't like about where I live is that the neighbors have a lot of dogs. It was very noisy
making it impossible for me to sleep, study and dangerous for kids.

I think it's better to live with others because we won't feel lonely, we can take care of each other,

I used to move. My family moved here when I entered high school to make it easier to travel and
better for my mother's hairdressing job.

My hobby is going out with my family. For me, weekends are family time. We used to go to the
park for a walk, snack together.

I often listen to music, surf the internet, read stories, watch movies to relax. It makes me more
comfortable, not having to think much.

I like doing activities with others people because it helps me bond good relationships with
friends and family, learn, share, help each other.

I usually exercise three times a week jogging around the park, swimming, cycling, jumping rope.
I feel very good for health.

The most popular hobby in my country is food because it is so varied and rich, importantly very
tasty and characteristic.

Yes, I do. I have a friend who loves to go to Ascoustic because there you will listen to live music,
interact with singers, drinks that make you sleep very well.

When I come home from school or work, I will take a shower, eat and go to my room to listen to
music, watch movies to relax.

Yes, there are. The hobby that I don't want to do anymore is watching horror movies because it
scares me and sleeps badly. I prefer funny movies.

Yes, I would love to go to parties. There I get to meet friends and relatives, enjoy delicious food
and fun atmosphere.

The last party I went to was my best friend's birthday party. It was a very fun day we spent the
night at your house.
3. What kind of things do people celebrate in your country?( Những điều gì mọi người ăn

In our country, we often celebrate on holidays, happy days, after winning matches. That's when
we get to talk happily with each other, share joy, happiness.
4. Have you been to a wedding? (Bạn đã từng tham dự đám cưới chưa?)
Yes I have. it was my best friend's wedding last year. The party was very big and many people
attended. she was like a queen in that dress.
5. What do you like to do at parties? (Bạn thích làm gì trong các bữa tiệc?)
At parties I often talk, take pictures, eat, participate in games with people. That helped me fit in
and maybe make new friends.

My favorite party games as a kid were quizzes and karaoke because through which I could show
my abilities and also be very bustling.

No I don’t. I don't go to parties often. I don't have a lot of time and money, I only go when it
means something.

Yes, I like it because dancing at the party will make the atmosphere more exciting, socializing
and confidently expressing personality.

For me, one of the most delicious dishes to serve during the celebration is the barbecue because
it is so delicious and easy to prepare.

Yes, I have. Last week my family celebrated my brother's birthday at home. People play and
laugh very happily, many dishes are delicious and the decoration is very beautiful.

I wanted to invite MONO to the party because he is very good, talented, sings well and is very

and friends.

I prefer to lie on the beach because of the feeling of relaxation, comfort, beautiful scenery, cool
breeze, participation in sports.

I want to go to Taiwan the most because of the attraction of culture, cuisine and I want to learn
about Taiwan's unique history and culture

My favorite way to travel is to learn and eat the food where I go. I also like to walk to see the
sights there.

The place where I live has many tourists because it is close to the center. It was also an
opportunity for me to increase my skills.

The most interesting place you have ever visited is Vung Tau beach because of the fresh air, you
can enjoy the beautiful view of the city from Hai Van pass.

Yes I do. Because it helps me recall good memories. I can give relatives or decorate.

Yes, of course. Next week, my family and I will go on a trip to Nha Trang beach. I look forward
to that day very much.

Yes I do. I find English songs very good and very useful and English is quite similar to
Vietnamese, easy to learn so I like it.

Yes I have. It's my own room and it's so cutely decorated and I often invite my friends in to study
with me.
3. What time of day is your best time for studying? (Thời gian nào trong ngày là thời gian

For me the evening is the best time to study because it reduces the noise and the air is cool.
4. Do you like to study online?( Bạn có thích học trực tuyến?)
Yes I do. Because it saves time, reduces travel costs, the study space is comfortable.
5. What are the advantages and disadvantages of studying?( Những lợi thế và bất lợi của
việc học là gì?)
In my opinion, the advantages of learning are increased knowledge and skills. The disadvantage
of learning is the cost.
6. What do you find most difficult about studying?( Bạn thấy điều gì khó khăn nhất khi

What I find the most difficult to learn is numbers. It makes me tired and headache when solving
homework.

I often study English twice a week because to me English is very necessary for my study.

Yes I have. I study English in a classroom at the center. there I can communicate with foreigners
once a week. I have a lot of fun learning.

Yes I have. Near the exam date, you and I will have a group meeting to prepare assignments.
That helps us study better.

I prefer to study alone because I will focus on studying and remember the lesson quickly.
Studying with others just helps me with my homework.

In English the area I find hardest is the listening part because they speak with speed and structure
compared to Vietnamese, quite fast.

Right because it makes it easy for me to find the information I need, to access free online
courses.

Yes there is. It is English because it is very necessary for my study and work in the future. This is
