Let's Go
Presentation by Ashutosh Kumar
What is Design Thinking?
Design thinking refers It involves approaching a
to the process of problem systematically and
using creative skills to thoughtfully to correct it and
solve problems. This strategy typically develop lasting, positive
relates to client- change.
focused project
activities.
Design thinking allows businesses to progress
through projects, develop and perfect products and
services, optimize workflow processes and fulfill
customer needs.
5 Steps in Design Thinking
Empathy
Research Your Users' Needs
The first phase of design thinking, where you gain
real insight into users and their needs.
Empathy
What we should do?
Conduct Interview for Users.
Gather Information from users.
Make User Persona (Income,family etc.)
What actual problem they are facing?
Impact on their community.
Define
State Your Users' Needs and Problems
The second phase of design thinking, where you
define the problem statement in a human-centered
manner.
Define
In the Define stage, you will organize the information
you have gathered during the Empathize stage.
You’ll analyze your observations to define the core
problems you and your team have identified up to
this point.
Ideate
Challenge Assumptions and Create Ideas
The third phase of design thinking, where you
identify innovative solutions to the problem
statement you’ve created.
Ideate
You’ve grown to understand your users and their
needs in the Empathize stage, and you’ve analyzed
your observations in the Define stage to create a
user centric problem statement.
With this solid background, you and your team
members can start to look at the problem from
different perspectives and ideate innovative
solutions to your problem statement.
Prototype
Start to Create Solutions
The fourth phase of design thinking, where you
identify the best possible solution.
Prototype
The design team will now produce a number
of inexpensive, scaled down versions of the
product (or specific features found within
the product) to investigate the key
solutions generated in the ideation phase.
These prototypes can be shared and tested
within the team itself, in other departments
or on a small group of people outside the
design team.
Test
Try Your Solutions Out
The fifth and final phase of the design thinking
process, where you test solutions to derive a
deep understanding of the product and its
users.
Thank
You!
