APPLICATION INVITED FOR EMPANELMENT OF STATE QUALITY
MONITORS
To ensure good quality in Construction of KRIDL works, three tier Quality
monitor mechanism is adopted. KRIDL intends to empanel State Quality
Monitors (SQM) for third tier monitoring system.
Applications are invited from the Retired Officers in the cadre of Chief
Engineer/Superintendent Engineer of State Govt./Central Govt./Defence
service/Central or State Public sector, Professors, Associated professors
affiliated to Reputed Engineering Colleges, Registered Technical consultants
with minimum qualification of B.E/M.E/[Link] in Civil Engineering branch with
more than 15 years experience in Civil construction, Quality control and
supervision of work for Empanelment as State Quality Monitors to monitor
Quality Management of KRIDL works.

APPLICATION INVITED FOR EMPANELMENT OF STATE QUALITY
MONITORS
The Karnataka Rural Infrastructure Development Limited (KRIDL) is
implementing various construction works such as Buildings, Roads, Water
Supply works, Electrification, Suvarna Grama Yojana Works of Govt. of
Karnataka and other Departments.
To ensure good quality of works in these scheme, three tier Quality Monitoring
Mechanism is adopted. KRIDL intends to Empanel State Quality Monitors for
third tier monitoring system.
1. The State Quality Monitors shall be Public service oriented and willing to
sincerely work for social cause.
2. Selection of the Quality Monitors is done by the selection committee based
on the technical parameters.
3. Retired Officers in the cadre of Chief Engineer/Superintendent Engineer of
State Govt./Central or State Public sector, Professors, Associated professors
affiliated to Reputed Engineering Colleges, Registered Technical consultants
with minimum qualification of B.E/M.E/[Link] in Civil Engineering branch
with more than 15 years experience in Civil construction, Quality control
and supervision of works, are eligible to apply.
4. Eligible candidates shall be below 68 years of age. Monitors are allowed to
work till the age of 70 years.
5. Monitors must have experience in Construction of Rural roads, Highways,
Bridges, Construction of buildings, Water supply and other civil works and
also knowledge in the field of Geo Technical Engineering/Structural
Engineering/Construction materials.
6. The applicants participating for SQM should not have any
Departmental/criminal enquiry pending against them for which they have to
submit notarized affidavit.
7. Evaluation of Inspection reports of quality monitors will be conducted for
every six months.
8. Quality monitors need to visit the assigned districts for 8 to 10 days in a
month and submit report in the prescribed format as per the guidelines.
9. A honorarium of Rs.3,000.00 per day of inspection/attend to office daily
allowance of Rs.250.00, Incidental charges of Rs.250.00.
10. Reporting allowances of Rs.250.00 and actual travelling cost as per
company norms will be paid to the monitors.
11. Empanelment is for a period of two years from the date of acceptance of
Empanelment.
12. KRIDL reserves the right,
a. Without assigning any reason to accept or reject the application.
b. Cancel the Empanelment process.
