Task. Creating a lesson plan in Canvas
Target Group:
The students belong to the 2nd year of baccalaureate of a private school, the class
consists of 25 students, 15 girls and 10 boys in the ages of 14-15 years old, with a
B1+ level of English according to the CEFL.
Class Description:
The present lesson plan is going to be develop in 3 different days, each class is going
to have a length of 60 minutes. Students will work in the virtual class Canvas.

Lesson Plan:
First Session
Presentation: (15 minutes)
Teacher is going to present the use and structure of simple present perfect
tense through a power point presentation.
Students will follow the teacher explanation with the power point
presentation the same they can fin in the “archivos” section.
Practice: (20 minutes)
Students will complete the online worksheet activity which is uploaded in
the “tareas” section.
Students will ask teacher for help in any doubt that they have.
Production: 25 (minutes)
Students will write a short paragraph about life experiences in the forum of
the class.

Students and teacher will brainstorm the use and structure of questions by
using present perfect tense.
Practice: (20 minutes)
Students will watch the video “Have we met before?” and answer the
questions related to it. This activity would be founded in the “tareas” section
of the virtual class.
In pairs students will practice speaking questions by using present perfect
tense through and interactive roulette. This activity would be founded in the
“tareas” sections of the virtual class.
Production: (25 minutes)
Students will listen an audio conversation and choose the correct option for
each question.
Third session:
Presentation: (10 minutes)
Teacher will introduce the topic of the reading “Old Colonel”.
Students will brainstorm about what the “Old Colonel” could be about.
Practice: (25 minutes)
Students will read the story “Old Colonel” and ask to the teacher about
words they do not know the meaning. This activity would be founded in the
“tareas” section of the virtual class.
Students will choose the correct answer for each question about the “Old
Colonel”
Production: (25 minutes)
Students will complete the activity “Sue has already done many things”
