The initial incident is that when Dodong already breaksthe news to his father. The story takes place in a nearby barrio witha farm that is being managed by Dodongs parents. It was a story of a b o y w h o w a s o n l y 1 7 w h e n h e d e c i d e s t o m a r r y h i s l o v e o n e . H e asked for the permission of his father and his father unsurely ask edh i m i f h e r e a l l y wants to get married at that early age. His fatherdidnt hinder in his decision. hard to escape. It's the "marriage". At the age of 17 Dodong and T e a n g g o t m a r r i e d w i t h o u t thinking of the risk being in an uneasypart of life. They just follow what they feel. They d o n ' t t h i n k w h a t w o u l d h a p p e n i n t h e i r f u t u r e . T h e y b o r e s i x s u c c e s s i v e c h i l d r e n . Teang realized how hard being a young paren t. She regretted whatshe has done and thinks, what would be my life if I marry my othersuitors instead of Dodong. Until one day, Blas their first son turnede i g h t e e n , he asked to his father if he can marry, Dodong felt t h e g u i l t o n w h a t h e h a s d o n e b e f o r e , a n d h e r e m a i n e d s i l e n t n o t knowing what to say.
