2 PROJECT DELIVERABLES (OUTPUTS) FOR THE EIA REPORTS
The deliverables from this assignment shall include, but are not limited to:
• Terms of Reference: A Terms of Reference detailing the approach and methodologies as well
as the scope for the conduct of the EIA shall be prepared and submitted to the Lagos State
Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources on behalf of the proponent. The
LSMOE&WR is expected to consider and approve the TOR before commencement of Field
data gathering activities.
• Draft report: A draft EIA Report of the proposed project shall be prepared in line with the
national EIA Report Writing format and the sectoral guideline on Housing and Infrastructure
development. It shall address all the tasks described in the Terms of Reference as well as
issues captured in the study scope of work.
4.3 WORKPLAN FOR THE EIA STUDIES
Generally, we expect to be able to complete the entire assignment within the period of 12weeks.
These has taken into consideration the following:
• The need to undertake literature review and existing data collection
• The need to review the relevant and applicable legal and administrative frameworks
• The need to review the project alternatives considered for Project
• The need to conduct an extensive field data gathering including the biophysical and social
data
• The need for a robust impact assessment and recommendation of appropriate mitigation
measures
