A balanced diet includes a variety of food groups to provide essential nutrients:

- Carbohydrates: Primary energy source. Found in bread, rice, pasta, and fruits.

The food pyramid and portion control are tools to help visualize and maintain a
balanced diet. Daily nutrient intake varies by age, sex, and activity level, but
generally includes a variety of these food groups to ensure comprehensive
nutritional coverage.

2.2. Meals
Creating balanced and nutritious meals involves understanding the best foods for
different times of the day:

- Breakfast: Focus on complex carbohydrates, protein, and healthy fats.

Examples include oatmeal with fruits, whole grain toast with avocado, or yogurt
with nuts and seeds.
