This booklet is an abridged version of our
forthcoming book:
The Doors of Rizq
This work contains only the Duas mentioned in
the Qur’an and Ahadith of Sayyiduna Mawlana
Rasulullah ‫ﷺ‬. The complete narrations and
virtues have been left out for the sake of brevity
as they will appear in the above-mentioned book.
This work is meant to be short and easy to
read Daily Wird (litany) that can be read every
morning and evening or anytime, anywhere in
just a few minutes. Although this work is short,
there is much barakah in its recitation.
The forthcoming work, The Doors of Rizq however,
contains the full Ahadith narrations and virtues
and also many other Duas and Wazifa’s of the
Awliya for being blessed with abundance of rizq.
These have been collected from various books of
the Mashaikh and put together in one book.
In times of severe difficulty and for more
effectiveness, each dua in this Litany or any
suitable dua can can be repeated thrice or more.

4
Abu Hurayrah narrated that the Messenger
of Allah ‫ ﷺ‬said:
“Call upon Allah while being certain of
being answered, and know that Allah does
not respond to a supplication from the
heart of one heedless and occupied by play.”
(Tirmidhi — 3479)
The advice of Hadrat Shaykh Mawlana
Muhammad Zakariyya :
The only being who blesses and bestows wealth
upon the creation is Allah Ta’ala. Now, it is left to
Him to decide how He wishes to bless a person.
Overall, Allah Ta’ala inspires the hearts of people
to fulfil the needs of others.
My beloved friends! Understand well that it is
only Allah who gives! If you wish to ask, then
only ask from Him as He is the true owner of
everything. He alone gives, and He alone inspires
the hearts of His servants to give to whomsoever
He wishes.
O Ulama! Listen attentively! Even if you break
your head a hundred thousand times trying
5
to gain wealth from people, nobody will give
you anything. Neither will the principal of
the madrasah give you anything, nor will the
trustees and those in charge of the madrasah
give you anything. Allah Ta’ala alone is the giver,
and He alone inspires the hearts of His servants
to give to whomsoever He wishes.
My beloved friends! Only beg from Allah Ta’ala,
constantly beg from Him, and when you beg from
Him then shed tears while asking from Him. The
Hadith teaches us that even if you are in need of
a shoelace which has broken, then turn to Him
and ask Him for it.
Malfuzat Shaykh-ul-Hadith 53-54

May Allah reward all those who made this work

possible with His overflowing barakah and a good end
in this world, and may He grant them His pleasure
and countenance in Jannah.

Entering the home with Salam and Surah

Ikhlas brings rizq
Hafiz Abu Musa al-Madini has reported
on the authority of Sayyiduna Sahl ibn Sa’d
that a man once complained about
poverty to Rasulullah ‫ﷺ‬. So Rasulullah ‫ﷺ‬
told him, “When you enter your home, if
anyone is there or not, say salam, then send
salutations upon me and recite Surah Ikhlas
(Qul Huwallahu Ahad) once.”
The narrator says this man did this and
soon Allah Ta’ala blessed him with abundant
39
sustenance, so much so that he started
assisting his neighbours and relatives.
Jalaul Afham, Durrul Manthur, ad- Du’a- Shaykh Abdullah
Sirajud Din

Allamah Sakhawi and Hafiz Ibn Hajar Al

Haytami have stated that this narration
is reported with a weak chain. (Al Qawlul
Badi’, and Ad Durrul Mandud fis Salati was
Salami ‘ala Sahibil Maqamil Mahmud)
The Muhaddithun have allowed practicing
upon weak Hadiths in cases like the above.
