1. Initiating: Create an app to learn Chinese with native speakers. App name: LZN
2. Planning: 1.5(18month) years development
1 year - development of code and designing a beta version of our app
6 month - final tuning, closed beta test, final design and testing
6 month - open beta test, QA with test groups, launch
3. Executing:
Project manager: Ilya
Development team: Bruno and Andrew - 1 year develop the code, 6+6 month support and
adding new features
Design team: Thomas, Noelly and Leslie - 1 year developing the overall look, 6+6-month
final tuning and new features
Testing team: Andrew and Ilya - 6+6 month testing the app as technical specialists
4. Monitoring and Controlling: Ilya controls the process for 2 years and provides a clear
deadline for launch
5. Closing: After passing the in team and external tests, the app is launched, and the project
is reviewed by Ilya and team for lessons learned. Team documents experiences and
learnings.

Key Achievements:
We developed a good plan, mindful of our 18-month timeline, to build an app that connects
users to learning Chinese from native speakers. This phase established clear foundations, roles,
responsibilities, and milestones, ensuring alignment and focus throughout.
