Batukamma and Lakshmi are in front of the Sakhi learning


center. Batukamma is browsing through the rangoli book. She
shows one rangoli to Chandu’s mom and asks,

Suddenly a phone with QR code comes on top of the rangoli.

CHANDU
Idi baguntundemo chudu.

Batukamma looks up and sees Chandu looking at her angrily.

CHANDU (CONT’D)
Kotta nela achi rendu rojulu
ayyindi, edi rent? Kanisam ee
chuste ayina gurthochinda rent

BATUKAMMA
Adi Chandu anna, oka rendu
rojullo...

CHANDU
Naku telusu mee lanti valla
sangathi, rendu nelalu bane istaru,
3 nela hummm.. chustunnam gaa..

BATUKAMMA
Ayyo adem kadu anna, 2 roojullo
ichesta.

CHANDU
Sayantram kalla rent dabbulu rendu
velu na phone pay lo undali, naaku

He leaves without even listening to what Batukamma is saying.

INT. CHANDU’S HOUSE - LATER

Chandu is stitching his uniform’s pocket. It is established


that there are other stitches on the other side of the pocket
showing that it is torn earlier as well. Chandu’s mother’s
voice comes from behind.

Chandu turns back and he sees his mom holding a brand new

EXT. SAKHI LEARNING CENTER - EVENING

Chandu is walking into the Sakhi learning center, he observes


a nice rangoli at the gate, and he walks in. Batukamma is
teaching math to Lakshmi’s daughter Appu.

Batukamma looks up and sees Chandu.

BATUKAMMA
Sir, rendu rojullo ista anna kada
sir.

Batukamma gives a sigh and says, saree.. malli esukosta...She
goes in, wears and comes. Chandu looks at her and smiles.

Nachinda?

Batukamma nods with a big smile. And also a little shy. She
goes back. The sales guy.

Madam ki adi baaga suit ayyindi
sir.

CHANDU
Pani chusuko,,

They are now that the billing, Batukamma is collecting the


packages when the sales guy gives her two packages...She sees
the maroon chudidar

BATUKAMMA
Ayyo anna maadi aa yellow di, ee
