Focuses in making judgement and decision based on the collected data yung
collected data to young grades na students na nakukuha sa assessment or sa
learning process included dito yung behavior effort and participation of the our
students
The connection here are kasi dito na tayo magjo-judge if yung students natin
kung paano sila na makipag-communicate sa klase participate na naman sa
mga activities and use their language skills and real life situation

evaluation at it happens at the end of the lesson to measure if my learning new

Four example na lang every quarterly check natin if what students learn

Example sa mga grammar spelling ng mga students

For example sa elementary and high school diba may mga report card yung
pagbibigay ng card.
6. Product method means the final resul
Overall, the importance of assessment in evaluation in MTB is it helps
our students improve yung mga weakness nila or sa mistake that will
help them learn better. So, to use that in real-life situations. And also,
again, it helps us to monitor and teach away better if saan yung mga
target na need natin bigyan ng attention para mag-improve yung mga
estudyante natin. It’s either for their reading, writing, and for grading.
Additionally, it helps our students to be prepared for the next grade
level, which is as na malalaman natin if yung mga estudyante ba ay
natuto or may gaano na ba yung nalalaman nila or ready na ba sila to
learn a different language, such as English or mga different pa.
SUMMATIVE
Evaluate overall achievement- ito yung overall summary ng lesson for from the
first to the last topic and dito na rin yung chinecheck if ano ba yung overall na
natutunan ng bata
At the end of an instructional period (unit, semester, year, etc.)-
Infrequent, usually a few times a year- hindi siya kagaya nung formative na
ilang beses nangyayari ito kasi is like mga three or four na beses lang
nangyayari yung mga examf
High-stakes – meaninv ito yung have a big effect / impat on grades. If a student
gets a low score, it can lower their final grade.
Perod kapag sa atin hindi ba mas mataas yung percentage nung exam natin
tong college while in the elementary the percentage of the examination or the
quarterly assessment nila ay 20% at hung performance task 50% and yung
written work nila ay 30

Mas Angkop sa Mother Tongue – Sa asignaturang Mother Tongue, mahalagang
masanay ang mga bata sa paggamit ng kanilang sariling wika sa pagsasalita,
pagsulat, at pakikipag-usap. Mas epektibo itong nasusukat sa pamamagitan ng
performance tasks gaya ng pagsasalaysay, paggawa ng kwento, o oral
presentations.

Under assessments of MTB, provide ng:
1. Provide examples
Gaya ng sabi ko use the oral examination for our students para masi kung paano sila
magsalita kung gaano sila ka fluent and gaano sila ka proficience sa mga words or sa
sentence ng l1 l2 or other language
2. How we can use it in the classroom setting
We can use this through tests, quizzes, projects, and activities that check if students
understand their mother tongue. Teachers can also use storytelling, group work, and
oral exams to see if students can speak and write well in their language
3. Paano magagamit in MTB
Upang masuri kung kaya nilang gamitin ang kanilang wika nang maayos.

Unlike formative assessments, which are used to monitor student learning and provide

Summative assessment in Mother Tongue-Based Multilingual Education (MTB-
MLE) is important because it helps measure the overall learning and progress of
students in using their first language.
