Thank you for your interest in the Media Ministry at Open Fire International Fellowship,
we believe that God has a plan and purpose for every Christian and that purpose will be
fulfilled in the local church.

Psalm 92:13 [NKJV] - Those who are planted in the

house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.

Since you are interested in this area of ministry, we want you to be encouraged and
know that our desire is to see you fulfill all God has called you to do and be.

As a part of the media team, we have specific guidelines that we have established for
our team to work together and be the best we can be. Please read this carefully and
examine yourself regularly as to your commitment in this area of service. You must be
in 100% agreement for you to flow with our team and for the anointing to flow through
you. If you do not meet the standards set forth in these guidelines, you will disqualify
yourself from being a part of the Media Team. We are grateful for you and we believe
that as we are faithful to God in these areas, He will be faithful to show Himself strong
on our behalf not just in the worship service but also in our personal lives.

What is Media?

Media is the visual representation of the vision of our leadership. It is an example of the
culture, vision, beliefs, brand, and our acknowledgement of God, His son our Lord and
Savior Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. No matter if it’s a full length recording, images,
snippets, or sound-bytes of recordings.

To serve in media is to share the vision, culture, beliefs, and brand of Open Fire
International Fellowship to the world through social media. We serve with honor,
respect, and the spirit of excellence; understanding and acknowledging that in a service
we are both serving and yielding to the Spirit of God. He guides, directs, and teaches us
as we grow. In addition, we are part of security as we have eyes on the full sanctuary
during service.

Our Purpose

The Mission Statement:

Advancing the Kingdom of God, through the proclamation of

the potent Gospel of Jesus Christ, and by the demonstration

of the Holy Spirit‘s power, striving to empower the total man,

spirit, soul and body.

The purpose of the OFIF Media Team is to capture and transmit all of what God is doing
whenever we gather together, with intentionality and excellence. Our goal is to execute
the mission both audibly and visually so that lives can be empowered. We want OFIF to
be a place where people can experience a divine encounter with the Lord and have
their hearts prepared to receive the teaching of the Word of God both in house and
online.

Joshua 9:9 [AMP] - They said to him, “Your servants have come
from a country that is very far away because of the fame of the
Lord your God; for we have heard the news about Him and all
[the remarkable things] that He did in Egypt. . .”

Deuteronomy 4:9 [AMP] - Only pay attention and watch

yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things which your
eyes have seen and they do not depart from your heart all the
days of your life. Make them known to your children and your
grandchildren [impressing these things on their mind and
penetrating their heart with these truths]—

Mark 2:12 [NIV] – “He got up, took his mat and walked out in
full view of them all. This amazed everyone and they praised
God, saying, “We have never seen anything like this!”.

Acts 4:4 [NLT] - But many of the people who heard their
message believed it, so the number of men who believed now
totaled about 5,000.

Three (3) Ways to Accomplish Our Purpose

1. By making sure our lives exemplify purity and holiness, so God can flow through
us.
2. By listening to and studying other media teams that are successful and have the
same heart we do.

2 Timothy 2:20-21 [NLT] - In a wealthy home some utensils are

made of gold and silver, and some are made of wood and clay.
The expensive utensils are used for special occasions, and the
cheap ones are for everyday use. If you keep yourself pure, you

will be a special utensil for honorable use. Your life will be clean,
and you will be ready for the Master to use you for every good
work.

Psalm 15:1-4 [NKJ V] - LORD, who may abide in Your

tabernacle? Who may dwell in Your holy hill? He who walks
uprightly, And works righteousness, And speaks the truth in his
heart; He who does not backbite with his tongue, Nor does evil
to his neighbor, Nor does he take up a reproach against his
friend; In whose eyes a vile person is despised, But he honors
those who fear the LORD; He ho swears to his own hurt and
does not change.

3. To be prayed up and ready to serve in a spirit of unity.

The Three “I's” of Serving in Media

Psalm 133:1,3 [NKJV] - Behold, how good and how pleasant it

is for brethren to dwell together in unity! ....For there the LORD
commanded the blessing - Life forevermore.

Isaiah 38:20 [NKJV] - "The LORD was ready to save me;

therefore we will sing my songs with stringed instruments All the
days of our life, in the house of the LORD."

You might call these our core values of serving at Open Fire. We think it's important that
every teammate strive to serve with the following three characteristics:

1. Integrity - If we're going to display it from the stage, we have to live it when we're
not serving. People know when we're being fake, when our heart isn’t in what
we’re doing. We can't expect people to depend on God just because we've told
them to. We have to lead by example. This also applies to tithing, involvement,
etc.

Psalm 101:1-2 [NLT] - I will sing of your love and justice, Lord. I will
praise you with songs. I will be careful to live a blameless life—when will
you come to help me? I will lead a life of integrity in my own home.

Romans 12:1-2 [NLT] - And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with
you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let
them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This
is truly the way to worship him. Don’t copy the behavior and customs of
this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the
way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is
good and pleasing and perfect.

2. Intensity - Serving in media is serious business. We should be EXCITED and

grateful to God for what He has done for us. And just like with integrity, we can't
expect the people to be excited and enthused about what we’re displaying if
we're not. We have to pay attention and be intentional about the message
we’re communicating - engaging our viewers and bringing them along on the
journey. When we talk about His wonders, grace, love and goodness; these are
INCREDIBLE truths that are world-changing and we should act like it.

“Psalms 103:1[NLT] - Let all that I am praise the Lord;

with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name. ”

“Psalms 118:24 [NKJV] - This is the day the Lord has

made. We will rejoice and be glad in it. ”

3. Intentionally - Jesus didn't live a flippant life. There was purpose in everything
He did. We should live the same way, and we should serve in the same way.
Always be asking why. Why should I choose this shot? Why should choose this
background/color? Is this video appropriate? Are we just making goofing around,
or are we pointing people/creating an environment that points people to God?
This takes preparation and time spent not just in a briefing few minutes before
service but also watching videos, attending trainings/rehearsals, practicing,
learning how to use equipments and even observing when visiting other
ministries. This will open us up to a whole new world of opportunities in and out
of service.

1 Peter 3:15 [NLT] - Instead, you must worship Christ

as Lord of your life. And if someone asks about your
Christian hope, always be ready to explain it.

As a media minister we expect you to have the following:

1. Media talent
a. Serve skillfully and joyfully.

2 Chronicles 2:7 [NIV] - Send me, therefore, a man skilled to

work in gold and silver, bronze and iron, and in purple, crimson
and blue yarn, and experienced in the art of engraving, to work
in Judah and Jerusalem with my skilled workers, whom my father
David provided.

b. Make habit of practicing in the areas you predominantly serve in and even
taking lessons so that you can be proficient and serve well with other team
members.

Genesis 21:20 [AMP] - God was with Ishmael, and he grew and
developed; and he lived in the wilderness and became an
[expert] archer.

2. Spirituality - be a member of OFIF with a loyal heart to serve God, including, but
not limited to the following:
a. Born again
b. Filled with the Holy Spirit with the evidence of praying in other tongues.
c. Have a life of daily personal prayer time, word study and worship on a
consistent basis.
d. Growing and changing in line with the Word of God.

Romans 12:2 [NKJV] - And do not be conformed to this

world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind,
that you may prove what is that good and acceptable
and perfect will of God.

3. Be a Servant (be servant minded, having a humble mind, even when corrected):
a. Even as Jesus came to minister (serve) rather than be served so we must
be looking for opportunities to minister to others as we serve in on the
team). To do this we must be mature enough to keep ourselves built up so
we can give rather than needing to be helped all the time.
b. Be aware of people around us, be mindful of sensitive moments that may
not edify the body or could be disruptive to the atmosphere and even be
offensive.
c. Be willing to do whatever needs to be done, even if you’re not being
recognized. A humble spirit is required to be in front of people. Otherwise,
your pride will remove you from a place of honor.
4. Be Free (remember if the Son sets you free you are free indeed, just stand in that
freedom moving forward):
a. Jesus said the truth we know will make us free. In order to help others be
free in their worship, it is essential that we show the congregation what
freedom in worship is.

b. The anointing of the Holy Spirit is able to flow only if the vessel is free.

Other Requirements:

1. Dress Code - As a member of the team people look up to you. Your life must
exemplify one of excellence in all areas; spirit, soul and body. Our main goal is to
look professional and our dress should always be modest, as we are not only
representing Christ, but Pastor and Open Fire International Fellowship. We want
the team to look the best they can! Remember that the way we look is of utmost
importance. People do judge by appearance. We never get a second chance to
make that first impression. Please be sure that your style and clothing bring
honor and glory to God, isn’t excessive and doesn’t draw unnecessary attention
to yourself.
a. Clothing must be clean, sharp and ironed. Preferably dark colors.
b. Appropriate shoes must be worn at all times.
c. Dress is to be smart casual. This means nice pants or dressy jeans with
blouses or sweaters, and/or jackets for women and nice collared dress
shirts for men. No shorts, tight shirts, low cut shirts or tummy’s showing.
2. Grooming and Hygiene:
a. Hair must be washed, nicely groomed and kept neat and clean; no sloppy
hairdos or excessively wild styles that draw undue attention. Bodies must
be clean and use of effective deodorant is essential to positive
interpersonal relationships. No excessive colognes, perfumes, piercings,
or visible tattoos. Remember also to have your personal stash of breath
mints! No gum during services.

3. Attendance - You are expected to be a committed, faithful and loyal person to the
Media Team.
a. You are required to be at church at least 15 to 30 minutes before service
(including intercessory prayer) begins for pre-service set-up, sound
checks and prayer. Call/text in advance if you’re going to be late. It is your
responsibility to ensure that you have each team member’s cell number
and email so you can communicate effectively and in a timely manner if
you are going to be late or you may have an emergency. Try group texting
when needed so the entire team is aware and can be prepared to make
adjustments.
b. If you are late, you will not be serving that service (depending on the
circumstance). It doesn’t reflect excellence, reverence and discipline if the
service has already started and you just drop in. Habitual tardiness will not
be tolerated. You are choosing to remove yourself form the team by being
habitually late.

c. All teammates are expected to be present at the weekly pre-service

briefings and monthly trainings. If you cannot attend, you need to
communicate that with the leader ahead of time. Briefings are held 20mins
before service and trainings are held one Saturday per month from
10:00AM to 12:00PM.
d. Your commitment to this ministry is reflected in your attendance not only
of the practices but also in attending services regularly. You are expected
to be at church for both week-night services and other services and
events, even if you’re not serving. Also, when Pastor calls a cooperate
move for the church, the media team is expected to be involved, give full
support and stick to the rules; for example, cooperate fasting, 5am
prayers, and special events/services. Making up poor excuses to not
commit or attend and serve is not tolerated (Joel 2) and excessive
absence will be grounds for dismissal.
e. Attendance for special meetings, conferences and camps is required. The
only exception will be work schedules that cannot be changed. There will
probably be 3-4 special meetings throughout the year that will involve 3-4
nights.
f. Give a least two (2) weeks’ notice if you’re going to be gone. More time is
preferred – as soon as you know, email or write it down. Verbal notice is
not acceptable.

4. Code

a. Anyone involved in the Media Team is expected to be a committed Christian with

a lifestyle that exemplifies holiness, worship and honor to God both privately and
publicly. Smoking, use of narcotics or alcohol, swearing and illicit sexual behavior
are not acceptable in a team member’s life and will NOT be tolerated. The Bible
teaches us to worship God in the beauty of holiness. We give glory and honor to
God by a lifestyle of holiness. As believers and servants, we are required by God
to live a life that worships in action as well as word.
b. A submissive attitude is very important among the media team members.
Speaking against the leadership will not be tolerated; neither will attitudes that
have their own personal agenda. We are here to serve God through serving
Pastor and this body and to be submissive to those over us.
c. A critical spirit or negative attitude will reflect in our corporate worship. Those
attitudes will not be tolerated! Please keep your comments to yourself. If you do
not agree with the way things are handled, pray about it, don’t gossip about it. If
you have a real issue discuss it privately with the Media Leader.
d. There will be times when the leader will be offering instruction concerning the
way something is being done. It is imperative you receive instruction willingly. A

bad attitude towards instruction will negatively affect the whole group. You can’t
wear your feelings on your sleeve.

Proverbs6:23[NKJV]-Reproofs of instruction are the

way of life.

e. Our goal is for the best overall look/sound, a good blend of audio and video. This
can be one of the hardest areas to deal with, trying to please all the members of
the team at the same time. Please be patient, with a good attitude, as we are
constantly adjusting and working towards the best overall execution.
f. Absolutely NO GOOFING around while serving or at trainings, these things look
unprofessional and distasteful. There should also be no playing on equipments,
talking, or laughing when the leader is giving instruction. A lot of noise can be
very frustrating and often takes up a lot of unnecessary time as the instruction
cannot be heard and will have to be repeated when this is going on. Please be
respectful towards whoever is speaking and the leader of the group.
g. Run your cables neatly, gaff taping them where necessary. Also, in reverence to
God and as a courtesy to others who have been so faithful in keeping the church
clean, please ensure that the sanctuary is reset for the worship service after
services and trainings. Empty bins, clean up trash, reset chairs, etc.

When leading the serving during worship be a conscious example:

1. Avoid putting your hands in your pocket especially when on the cameras.
2. Do not expect people to be excited if you are not. Be an example of enthusiasm
for what is happening first before you expect them to do it.
3. Do not go wondering, be engaged and pay attention, take your mind off you and
your issue and focus on God and Him being glorified. If your mind is preoccupied
it shows.
4. Keep a clean workspace. Move equipments so they are not in the way of the
speaker or the screens during the sermon or other elements during the service.
Anything we can do to eliminate the possibility of a distraction on stage is worth
the extra effort.
5. Be sensitive to when the message is closing and be ready by the altar call or the
Speaker's signal to capture those moments. Manage the atmosphere well, when
someone is receiving a word/prophecy be mindful to get shots that they can use
for future reference.

-AGREEMENT -

I ____________________________________ have read and understand all the

instructions outlined in this Ministry Service Agreement. In signing this document, I am
agreeing to abide by all the above guidelines with the understanding that violation of this
ministry service agreement and or any other Open Fire International Fellowship’s
bylaws, policy/procedure or moral/ethical standards will result in me being subject to
counseling up to and including suspension and or terminating this agreement of service
in love. Violations will be addressed as follow:

First - Verbal warning with two (2) leaders present.

Second - Written warning with one (1) leader present.
Third - Consultation with Pastor/Co-Pastor and one (1) leader.
Fourth - Agreement nullified.
