Motor Skills Impact on Cognitive Health

This study investigates the effects of learning and practicing motor skills on cognitive abilities and psychological well-being in older adults with mild cognitive impairment (MCI). Results indicate significant improvements in cognitive skills and psychological well-being among participants who engaged in motor skill training over three months. The findings suggest that movement-based rehabilitation can enhance brain functioning and may slow the progression of cognitive decline in older adults with MCI.
