Apparatus: Software requirements


• Cisco Packet Tracer

Equipment Required
• Cisco 2960-24TT Switch
• Three PCs (PC0, PC1, PC2)
• Ethernet cables
• Physical Lab setup

Network Topology
• Switch: Cisco 2960-24TT
• PC0: [Link] /24
• PC1: [Link] /24
• PC2: [Link] /24
• Default Gateway: Not required for this LAN setup
• Subnet Mask: [Link]

Steps: - Physical Setup


Connect the PCs to the Switch

• Use Ethernet cables to connect PC0, PC1, and PC2 to different ports on the
Cisco 2960-24TT switch.

Step: Configure IP Addresses on PCs

1. Open each PC in Cisco Packet Tracer or on a real system.

2. Go to Desktop → IP Configuration.

3. Assign the following IP addresses:


• PC0: [Link] / [Link]
• PC1: [Link] / [Link]
• PC2: [Link] / [Link]

Step 4: Verify Connectivity

1. Use the Ping Command


• On PC0, open the command prompt and type

ping [Link]

• Similarly, test connectivity between all PCs.
